A lot of the Sleepy's music sounds like they're doped because the early years of the band was driven by drugs and alcohol. Luke came to find a relationship with God and stopped drinking, and his music since then has been amazing. Miniskirt by the Sleepy's is soooo stupid I'd you watch the video for it. But now, especially in Empire of the Sun, the sounds are just brilliant. GQ awarded lLuke Steele with the Musician of the Year award, examining the fact that he's come a long way.

i love the sleepy jackson i went to see them at the cockpit they were awesome then he started goin on bout how the next songs for this guy who used to be in the band but he got hit by a car or something and was in a coma and died or something i don't know but apparently it's true
