Nice recap. As a Bears fan, I really can't disagree with much that you said. Your punter is amazing. That 80 yd punt was something that I have never witnessed before. I think Hester was stunned on that one. Martz's call right before halftime turned the game around, I think. 2nd and short and they ran a screen play to the left.....dumb. That was a 6 pt swing at the minimum. That was the game right there. Congrats on the win. Go Bears!
@ThisBudz4Me I've seen huge punts before... not by Lechler, but there have been 90 yard punts in the past by other punters. I was happy the team was self-conscious on Hester.... they dared Lechler to punt to him, and lucky we aimed away.

Cutler or no Cutler, I thought this game would be ugly, but we got out of it with a win.

We didn't get alot of penalties in this one, and it was STILL a disgrace. We're the one team in the league that constantly gets no call when a player from the D-line is clearly being held which is why the other team's QB, even if it's a backup like Hanie, has so much time to do whatever they want. @dawb86 refs still called more on the Bears so it doesn't matter. I didn't see any bonehead penalties on the Raiders nor did I see any penalties that weren't actually penalties. Th game was called really well in my eyes
@dawb86 Can't blame the refs at all this game. The calls were fair, considering we did commit a share of holdings and whatnot. The penalties we committed were fair, and Chicago got their share too, including the grounding at the end, I can't complain.

Which is why we didn't have a gang of calls this week.
