We're glad the video helped! With a pseudo-texture kind of finish like this, building multiple coats tends to hurt the grain appearance rather than help it. And since this stain is semi-transparent, you're not going to completely cover the red up. QUESTION.....I followed the video and my door looks beautiful. However, the 2nd coat is a bit too red. Can I apply a 3rd coat of stain??? or would that dimenish the wood grain effect???
