@eshelhombremono in the game torterra gets 3 defense points (high defense stat)the game is so different from the anime that in the anime anything can happen during battles and they don't follow up on the same rules as the game ethier, the creators could've made ash's torterra just as strong as in the games but his infernape was the main star of his team
