there was an excellent magic juan remix of lisa stanfields people hold on. the vocals were totally cut out and and had a massive synth pattern, it was a popular floor filler played in front club in hamburg around 89. it was released on ahead of our time (hot plate 6). can anybody upload it pleeeeeeeease

thanx but it was tracey amos as well. t.amos wrote lyrics and melody on this song. she showed us that detroit techno could have vocals and stay true to the sound of detroit techno that juan created.

Amazing, I never thought would go so well with detroit techno, there is definately a feeling she creates I guess. Did she also do the vocals on "Flow" and Octave One - "i believe".
