@tpep15 ........holy crap I've never yelled at a YouTube video more than this hour long snooze-fest.......butt conect the damn wires.....and you could of taped the damn thing to the bench to solder it...OMG!
I just bought the sony xplod XS-R1644 for my sisters nissan sentra i will upload a video on dec.27 rhank for the video now i know what they sound like
wow man great vid. cant believe i found it. I'm going to change the door speakers and install an kicker amp and 10inch L7 sub next week. i couldn't find the wiring diagram anywhere when i looked for it on the net.
@Daniel95838 Thank you for the kind comment! I am glad the video helped! I plan on adding an after market amp somewhere down there road, but if you get a chance takes some video of your install I would love to see it!
would make wayyy more sense to just cut the clip off from the door and solder the wires that came with the speaker, wont be long before that xplod blows up and you have to redo all that use less work. guaranteed every speaker you use after will be the same clips at the xplods do. waist of an hour of your life man.
@curtguy0001 Agreed, if I were hard on my stereo and speakers and pushed a ton of watts through them, I would certainly go a different route. But, the most abuse those speaker see is from my young children's music, or me listening to NPR....so I am not worried about blowing the speakers.
thanks for the video my dad blew his speaker in the left front and he needed to know which was positive and which was negative and this video help alot
@xzach99x For some reason my front left has blown twice, Im not going with infinity any more but is weird that that is the one that always goes first.
thanks for the video. very clear I am ready to replace my blown out speakers. now I know I will not damage anything doing the job. I usually end up breaking things taking them apart. But this time I know what to and how to take it apart. thanks
@690leonard Thanks for watching and for the comment! I am glad the video helped. That is one reason I started filming myself, I could never find it on youtube. If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I will help the best I can. Have fun!
@xzach99x haha i blew my left front speaker as well... I was coming to ask what size the speaker was

This is useless. Just cut the frickin wires, put the pigtails on and be done! It will last a lot longer than that crappy solder job...
