If they were charging over five bucks,The Thing? would be a tourist trap/ripoff,but since it's only a dollar,who could resist this? The other strange items displayed are plenty cool all by themselves. if it wasn't in the middle of a godforsaken desert,I wouldn't mind working there,selling The Thing? T-shirts and bottled water...

I was always disappointed when my parents passed The Thing when I was a kid and we were on vacation. Now I'm glad they didn't stop because I don't think a paper mache mummy is worth paying money for. I'm sorry to the people who like it, but it just doesn't live up to all the hype.

awesome...I saw my moms Hotel @ exit 304..awesome I got to see the thing and not pay A THING..thanks alot because I kept wanting to go there but it looked like so small and I didn't have must time anyhow you saved me the time and money.

I like your "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas" Hunter S. Thompson voice-over on this peace. I grew up in Benson, just 20 miles from "The Thing". You captured the spirit of the place perfectly, with style. Well done.
