Regardless of whether this was a joke or not. This was where it got so unwatchably terrible. Only in season 3 did it get better again, which was a shame. The show could have gone on without Damon (despite him being the best thing about it) but for some reason it just died. Becky and the two guys saved it.

He keeps saying that he wants Damon to come back onto the show and that he "didn't think it was that bad", but -at least in the videos I have viewed- he hasn't said "Look, I made a mistake. I shouldn't have acted the way I did and I am sorry. I was out of line."

Damon, however, also was in the wrong by calling Stephen a "child" and a "baby", no matter how upset they both are. They both seem to be turning a blind eye to one another.
