for a fact i use to have a video using a song that i had full permision from the band and someone claming they were the band said i did not i did get the video back later

another video i acully payed for the rights to use it in a video thro a site i use the money gose to the band and ones again takin down suposedly by the band ones again put back up after proff was shown.

If you uploaded a Young Turks video in its entirety or near entirety, just basically as a mirror, they have every right to file DMCA, even if there were some clips in that content that they don't own, provided that you broadcast their commentary.

Maybe you can advise me, I had copyright claims made on me due to audio comtent. Usually the claims are legitimate, yet the claimant allows the videos to remain in exchange for advertising rights. One legitimate claimant had one of my videos blocked. I'm all cool with that, it's within their rights. What tics me off is I recently had 3 claims against my 3 top videos. The calimants were not the legitimate copyrights owners. The videos were blocked, when you try accessing them this message is ...

When you go to "My Videos" there should be a "dispute" or "resolve" copyright link. Otherwise, go to the Help section and search for it. It cannot be resolved if you have already removed the video.

Youtube is not doing their homework before accepting the disputes as valid. My account was just suspended 2 weeks ago over a dispute that was bogus.

YouTube allows the video to stay up during the dispute process if the person filing the claim is a YouTube member. If they are not, the video is removed during the dispute process.

That is the reason the video is still up, at least until TheYoungTurks respond.

TheYoungTurks filed a copyright claim against me too, and since it was my 3rd violation, my former account was suspended.

It was for a FOX News video on Bill O'Reilly that contained no footage from them or had anything to do with them.

I don't know why they keep filing these. I am disputing mine too, and may get my account back.
