Those guys undoubtedly did the right thing, but I have to say in the defense of the other people, they are not armed police, they are just ordinary citizens, and also, for all they knew, the little girl could have been lying -- she was not a very good actress, and her cries weren't that convincing. Also, a few times, she didn't say "You're not my daddy," so it sounded just like a normal family quarrel.

Still, my eyes also welled up with pride for those guys when they went over to help her out.
