Actually, FF14 for PC is gonna be out by the end of this month for, PS3 is for march release next year. Anyway, I'm currently playing FFXIV Open beta, you should check it out! Game so far has a lot of bugs and issues, but since it's beta.. hopefully things will be fixed when it's released. and yes, there's many free rpg games out there, watchout for cash item shops! they abuse it!

@Dust1n00 Hmm maybe you should just invest in a ps3 or wii I have an Xbox as well and I got a wii {I soft modded it} but I really like it it's a refreshing take from some of the games I play on the 360 and it has good games now {Brawl,mario kart,mario galaxy 1+2,hopefully the last story, and more} and there is also the ps3 which I plan on getting this year I feel the same as you I find that it has more variety in the games but I do love XBLA alot :) I'm sure they will get it right soon.

They might as well make all future FF games like this (with the kingdom hearts battle system). That's how it plays out in the CGI. Turn based is kinda misleading, feels like playing an advanced form of chess even though it's what started it all.
