@TheVeinProject Aside from it taking place/filmed in a forest? well i hope you saw the movie (and not just the great trailers that didnt spoil the major surprises) but the last 30 mins of the movie, pretty much inspires this short film. as for why the "main character" here doesnt share some unique things with the main character from the actual movie District 9, well thats why its called "Dissolution"

@TheVeinProject the only way i can tell its district 9 related is the gun, more so the way it shoots. I think it would be hard to find props from the film and this was made in 2009 and for their experience back then they would have had trouble editing prawns into the video.

Meh, nice effects and camera shots but the only "inspiration" you got from District 9 was the gun effect and that's about it. This could have been any other hot pursuit short film with futuristic guns. Anyways, just pointing out the fact that most people expect to see aliens when you put the tag "District 9" on your video. I must say I also miss the accent (as in I fooking missed the accent :)

@TheRealMrWholegrain sorry to burst your bubble but guns with SUPPRESSORS dont sound like suppressed MW2 guns. They are still loud just not loud enough to hurt you if you shoot without ear protection. Pistols you can see a difference but not so much in rifles since they have bigger rounds. Suppressors only chamber the muzzle flash and initial bang not the sound wave the bullet makes when it breaks the sound barrier
