We just bought our first house. We fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. All the main rooms except the livingroom have a wonderful yellow color...then the living room is a hideous shade of green! That's going to be my first room.

Yes I have learned the same Im in my late 20's and bought our first house about 3 yrs ago and it's huge it's 4 living rooms, and I was over whelmed. it's still a work in progress. It can get very expensive so take your time ladies

Another thing to keep in mind is that less is more when it comes to knick-knacks, whatnots or whatever you call small decorative items. Too many looks like clutter and is a pain to keep clean.

Since you love organising and decorating, you should check out this girl on YouTube called 'organizedlikejen'. I LOVE her channel. She has FANTASTIC ideas. I'm sure you'll love her too. Also, could you do a tour of your kitchen (only if you're comfortable doing one) once it's finished? Thanks!

my boyfriend and i got an apartment and we re-did our bedroom so that when we go 2 bed, the last thing we see is our own environment that we decorated and are satisfied with and we go 2 sleep soundly! lol :) I lovveeee interior decorating and one of my fav cozy rooms to do is a bedroom. And I cant wait until the time comes to have a baby room! :) i cant wait to be a mom <3

What I did before moving in, was we painted all the rooms, put in new tile or carpet before moving in our furniture. It's alot quicker.
