hmmmm depends......you can use Dmajor and its relative minor, which is B minor. But B major also works......then G# minor's gonna work fine.......TRY USING B MAJOR FIRST TO CREATE A HAPPY BLUESY SOUND.......THEN RIP IT OFF USING b MINOR. ITS VERY COLORFUL THAT WAY.

Everyone Here is an idiot if they had half a brain they would realize you can play the blues in more than one key. this blues is in B so you can use B major or b minor D major is a mode of b minor and G# minor is a mode of B major. Shanebh knows what hes talking about ive never taken music lessons but im the only one understands what hes saying.
