There are only two or three instructional videos for this tune (on you tube) as far as I know - so this REALLY HELPS. They have fifty people teaching you how to play wonderwall but this long standing classic gets very little respect!
Thanks for the post and look forward to your second video covering embellishments?
Glad it can help you out. I still don't know how they get that tribal beat on the original. Quite often I drop the E to D and that helps. Thanks for reminding me that I promised an addition!
It's so cool to know that others are helped out by these posts. The good things that happen on YouTube totally outweigh the negative comments that show up. Thanks for sending out a thanks... bp
played away many a night with you at the seaview and nearby campfires with our favorite bartender bonnie always at our side cheering us on. good to see you again.
Dude, I know who you are but forgot your name! Remember that one campfire jam we had when they guy exclaimed, "You did it! You guys played so good everyone shut up!"
You're welcome, thanks for posting the good word. I use this tune to start basic fingerpicking. I have another version of this coming pretty soon. You know my videos are really an addendum to my private lessons, I don't script them out as well as I should because I know my students have already received the inside skinny.
That is a really nice clean version !

unfortunately bob,
i do alot of drinking when i am there
so no, i dont quite remember that...
just bonnies beautiful smile in the flames glow, and your bad ass chops
and my relentless meanderings
i always enjoyed sitting in with you
and pat, and....i am startin to forget names
too.... but i was recently inspired
to go deeper, and i really like where i am going, take care man
