The game - rFactor - is available off the 'net yes. The mod for it - this rally stage - I haven't 'released' as such because it's a long way from being finished. One day though, maybe later this year ;-)
It's very good, but it takes some tweaking. The video doesn't do it justice, and neither do most of the mods out there, where people release cars primarily designed by modelers with no experience of the actual car in question.
Given a "proper" mod, where the designer has made a car model with realistic physics, then rFactor is an equal to RBR.
As for Dirt 2, it wipes the floor with it. I was not impressed with either of the Dirts for their realism, then again I only tried them on XBOX360...!
