if I were stuck on an airplane on Christmas Eve, I'd think this is a really warm gesture. doesn't matter if it's a form of publicity, at least this one is something a person in that situation would appreciate. with the ton of traffic going around in airports, this actually is more than expected from an airline even if it were a publicity stunt. Of course it's an advertising stunt and quite well done too. You can't buy this kind of publicity (well I guess they kind of have) - the power of social media exploited.
