I had 5.50 Gen d-3 a minute ago and try different methods I found searching and nothing worked... somewhere I read that this CFW wont play it that I need to upgrade or downgrade.... Im not a fan of going down soo I fully upgraded to latest CFW 6.60 and still get the same problem.. game freezes at PS1 Logo ><

@genjutsugaara i have 5.50 gend3 and it works for me. you gotta find which popsloader is works with. try around 3.70 and up. sometimes it takes a while for it to go from the ps screen onto the actual game. maybe 15 sec. but it took me a while to find the right popsloader version that will work wiht this game on gend3

for anyone having problems with the game use popsloader plugin and set it to 3.40 its the most compatible for bofIV

I just had a bad burn for the iso. had to redo it and it worked fine with the PSX2PSP new version.

and Ive used both Popstation GUI and PSX2PSP to make the eboot file, but still nothing.

Yeah def.  I have it on my PSP. It goes up to 3.72 and the bottom option is original flash. Yep, tried it and nothing still.

If you have custom firmware on your psp then it shouldn't be too difficult to get this going. If you don't have CFW, any local 'Playstation Repairs' shop should be able to put it on your psp for you.

Yeah. Use popsloader 3.40 or earlier. It should work fine then.

it still wont work :(, i changed the pop to 3.40 using the R button method, but all it does is freeze for a while then my PSP shuts down.

Hmm, maybe try an earlier version of pops. 3.04 also worked for me. If that fails, maybe there is a problem with your downloaded file.

Pretty sure that it can't. I think 3.40 is the highest it can be played on.

i just downloaded it. i think its a ntsc version but cant say for sure. jus download the torrent at mininova or somethin like that. i had no glitches or freezes so far and im the bandits hideout.

.....hmm interesting. Did you rip your own copy? I ripped a PAL version. Sometimes PAL vs NTSC can be different.

I prefer to play in 3.40 because you can zoom the screen size without chopping too much off.

Where mine froze was just before that part, actually going to Synesta.

dude, i need your help. ive downloaded and converted BoF4 to an eboot. but then, i can't get it to work! i know that it has to be 3.40, but i can't get the popsloader menu to show up! damn. it only appeared once before. and after that, nothing! i rpess R everytime but the menu doesnt appear! argh!

Check out my favourite vids. There is a Popsloader tutorial which is really good. It sounds to me like you may not have the correct files in seplugins folder....(they vary depending on which popsloader version you are installing)

Which CFW are you running? I'm 3.90 m33-3, and I have no problems.

i had all the necessary files i.e. 3.00-3.72 but then again i had to re-install popsloader again and again before it worked. but after opening it for the first time, it won'r pop-up again when try to play an already-played game. but for new games it still pops up.

Hmm, frustrating. I don't know. I'm no expert on this stuff, but some people suggest pressing R at different times seems to work. I've never had a problem like that, so I wouldn't know how to fix it.

Is it just BoF4 or all of your games that this problem occurs? Might have something to do with your firmware version.

p.s. my version didnt freeze. if the tunnel you mean is the place where you have to find the kid of the orphanage. had no problems or glitches there.

now im on 3.71 m33-4 and everything works perfect. put the seplugins like you said in the root and it works!!!! thnx for the help and the vid. p.s. does the game freeze sometime or any other problems?

Not too sure yet. I've only played for 12hrs17min. When you go into the tunnel to Synesta you'll need to change to 3.03 (works for me anyway) or battles will freeze the game. If you find any other glitches let me know. Cheers

Yeah, you'll get a white screen in any fw version higher than 3.40. Check my favorites, there's a video there about installing popsloader. It should get things running for you.

The directory should be....

memorystick/seplugins/popsload­er/ (put all files here)

Yeah. seplugins go in the memory card root directory. As it says in desc., you'll need 3.40 and 3.03 (at least).
