@80Deadly Eh no. It's not. The only similarity is the UI and the fact that its hotkeybased (what MMO isnt?). The concept is very different and new: class system, the rifts etc. Totally NOTHING like WoW. Get over it fanboy, it's nothing like WoW.

@Direksone You know, I actually think that you're the fanboy here. The class system is basically exactly the same, only spread out differently to trick people. Rifts look amazing at first, but if you are looking at them logically, they are really just glorified random grinding. The soul system and the rifts are basically all that the game has to offer that is different from WoW and those two things aren't even very good.

@iChocolatex33 Haha, it is totally not the same class system, not anything like WoW AT ALL. Rifts are more than meets the eye, there are also invasions, footholds and major rift events. World events too. It's not only a random rift popping up here and there.

The two things that you claim are not good is what seperates Rift from the rest and it does well. WoW has nothing new or innovative to offer anymore, that's why games like Tera, Rift, Guild Wars, SWOTR and many others will become popular.

@Direksone The thing is, Tera and Guild Wars 2, and to a lesser extent SWTOR actually do offer a lot of new content. They aren't what would be commonly referred to as WoW clones. The soul system offers 32 different "specializations", while WoW offers 30. Rift's soul system allows you to use three, but in the end you'll most likely end up with a cookie cutter one tree build, just like in WoW. The ability to change roles easily is definitely very nice, but the soul system isn't innovative.

@iChocolatex33 Perhaps not, but it works really well and it's new, you can do a LOT with it. Yes ofcourse for PvE for instance a certain class is better and works better with classes x and y, however, you can make your talenttrees completely your own depending on whatever you like, that's why I like it more over WoW. If you roll Paladin and wanna Tank, bam these and the speccs you use. There's not much variation. Rift offers that. Aside from that: I was tired of WoW and blizz, this does good.

@Direksone Rift definitely is a good game and I'd say it's probably the best MMO out there except for WoW. I just think the game gets more credit for "innovation" than it deserves.

@iSNIPEthings Which is one of the great things in Rift. You dont need to level an alt if you wish to tank (unless you are mage) or heal (unless you are warrior. I know rogues can only support).

Are you 110% sure it was orange and equipable? I never heard of legendary items being in this game and I have bee actively raiding Greenscale aswell as playing from the betas.

Maybe I have completely missed them and you are correct, but perhaps you maybe mistaken it for a quest item or something?

@Lidenbok07 Yes im 115% sure it was orange and had epic stats tough we checked that item on Zam but that showed purple.Then we saw a comment that said that item buffed after 1.1 i guess.I wish i could remember the items name.But i will find out and let you know.
