We screwed studs into the tires. For about $50, you get 1000 studs (little sharp ended screws) and you install them with a screwdriver. About a 3:1 ratio of studs in the back to the front tire. You get almost better traction than on dirt with regular tires.
dude nice. what bikes do you have? me and my dad do the ice-biking thing every weekend for like 8 hours. we love it. we have two 2007 yamaha TT-R 125L's, and we just got the new Honda CRF-150R. that bike fucking id crazy. i got it up to 65 on our track today. it has 23 horsepower and so much acceleration power that it pulls you off of the back end of the seat if you dont hold on tight. and now we are going to get a little Honda CRF-50
are those bikes electric?..they dont make any noise!..lol...

haha, maybe you didnt notice, but we were riding through 4" of snow. The days where it was glare ice, we rode pretty damn fast.
