@sope213 The bike doesn't actually have any music. The sounds that it makes are just motorcycle acceleration, braking, and tires squealing. They were captured from the Akira movie. It's a feature that I personally think they should have just left off the bike, and then maybe they could have brought the cost down a little bit.

Dude you gotta admit the movie is unique from its kind and btw have you heard about the AKIRA live action movie?

@FPSPointMan Oh yeah, the movie was way ahead of its time. It really made the Japanese style of storytelling through animation popular here in the US. It changed a lot. I've heard something about the live action Akira movie, but I thought I heard it was supposed to take place in New York. That scares me a little. I don't want to see the story messed with. I would like to see a movie done that is closer to the original Manga.

I got Tetsuo, Kaneda and his bike they look GREAT to me !!!! I just wish Hot Toys made it but then again I'm wish too much. Thanks for sharing.

@Skeletonwitharaygun Yeah, it's definitely not an "impulse buy". It's a lot of money but well worth it IMO.

The Tetsuo figure is bad ass too. The combo of the bike, Kaneda, and Tetsuo is a classic.

Lots of people say that the figure realy came out cheap. The Clothes sewed cheap and material is not the best as well. Cheap haptic overall. I ordered both Items anyway and will see how it come out. The Bike as well looks like a lot of cheap plastic. But anyway, I will see if it arrives.

@kotze5 I too have seen where some people said Kaneda's clothes look cheap.  Personally I think the figure looks great. I think the figure is priced a bit too high, but I like it enough I was willing to pay the price with no regrets. As far as the bike, I think it's fantastic at every level. Some of the body panels creak a little when you pick it up, but I think that is just because the heavy die-cast frame with removable plastic body panels. Let me know what you think when you get yours.

@yamata86 I got my Kaneda today. It is overall a good figure. As you said bit to expensiv. I paid 110$ incl. ship+custom. Thats ok cause once you get the bike it will look stunning I guess. But I have to wait for the bike a littel longer I guess. The head is very good , I think the best match to the anime so far.

I sure will. As far as I followed Medicom 1:6, they always had the reputation of bad made figures and high prices. For my expierience the jin roh model shows the best.

does the rear mounting has suspension? Are the rims made out of some soft rubber? deos the wheels roll? Or is it just for standing?

@kotze5 Yeah, the rear suspension actually works. The tires are made of rubber and they spin too.

@bryce902 Thanks, I really really like it. It cost a little more (ok, alot) more than I wanted to spend, but Kaneda's bike is really an iconic motorcycle.
