  • Love your recipes, could watch all day. I only have question about tomatoe. Do I have to remove the juice from it? I saw on your video but wasnt sure.

  • @Dimanta so glad you are enjoying the recipes! you dont need to remove the juice. if you just slice and dice the tomatoes, it should be fine.

  • do you speak french?

  • hehehe. there a smiley face. wheey! hmm i think ive tried this recipe b4 but instead of using tuna we use crab meat and also without the ball pepper. yummy nom, nom!

  • Hi Alia ! If i don't like peppers, what can I replace it with ? I thought maybe of peas and celery, but I don't know if that would be a good match... What can you recommand me ? :)

PS: Your show is awesome, I really like it !!

  • :)

  • the olive smiley face was funny.

Does this salad hold well in the refrigerator, or do you have to eat it on the same day you prepare it? The reason I ask is because I am trying to find new foods to take with me for lunch that don't require heating. I am getting bored with cold sandwiches :\

  • @Oecologeae

What you can do is prepare the salad without the dressing. This way you can preserve the rice for up to 2 days in the fridge. The morning before taking the rice with you to work you can add the dressing.

  • @cookingwithalia here is a question for you. can I use brown rice instead of white rice? Great recipe BTW. very unique and healthy I must say.

  • i just made this. ohhhmyygoshhhh...

  • Just wondering if you use any particular type of rice, such as jasmine, basmati or plain long grain?

  • @ndlz1

I used bastmati because it's my favorite. feel free to use the rice of your choice, in Morocco we use the plain long grains.

  • Alia you are amazing! Thanks so much

  • Alia, the Moroccan tuna salad was a hit! I made it 3x in one week. Now I will work on the Hirija and stuffed figs for Ramadan. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for updating the music...hugs

  • hmmmmm mon plat préféré

  • Looks delicious! But I haaaaaate mayo... I can just leave it out, right? :)

  • yummy! i'll try it...

  • Hello Alia!

I love this recipe and how you presented your smiling rice, it looked cute. LOL! Yummy!

    Have a lovely day,

    Bye

  • Like your videos, Alia. The smiley face was cute.

  • Not trying to be mean, but what is Moroccan about this?

  • @enjoydotcom As a moroccan , I see myself free to answer :D

This salad is a derivative of the "salade niçoise" ( a french salad , of course) , made in a moroccan way, since raw bell peper is used ;)

  • @noneedtogrowup Aha, :D Thing is, I too use all these ingrediënts, and I'm Dutch.

  • Do you really use all the sauce for this amount of rice mixture? It seems like it would be too much. Thanks for the video!

  • @emilyhf3 I think you can always arrange things so it would suit your way. I agree maybe the sauce is a bit too much...maybe half the amount would be enough...or you can use less mayo and olive oil. I want to add cucumbers in this one. hehe. =D

  • great job alia ,keep up the good work......

  • I just made this salad and it came out delicious!!!

When I made the dressing and tasted it, I loved it so I doubled the batch!
