The evidence points directly at a government black operation, most notably through LBJ's reversal of JFKs order to remove troops from vietnam. The government has been lying through its teeth for 50 years and still refuses to renounce the truth. People should be less afraid of the government, and more wise to the blatant facts, rather than dismissing it as a conspiracy theory.

Many people take the film JFK to be true and historiacally accurate and actually quote it to support their theories when really it's a terribley inaccurate film. Start with Vincent Bugliosi's excellent 'Reclaiming History. The brilliant prosecutor (Charles Manson) spent 21 years researching the case debunking every conspiracy myth.

this IS an excellent film, and i very much suspect that oswald was not the lone assassin "and that's it". but, this movie is not a documenatary. it inserts guesses at times, makes things up for the sake of movie making, and flat out has some things wrong. a couple examples of twists on things: kevin bacon's character is fictional. there was no willie o'keefe. and the dramatic discussion with sutherland's mr X is made up too. they were manipulations made into movie friendly realities.

Oliver Stone's Platoon is one of the best, if not the best war film I have ever seen. But then I watched this movie, and I realized it was not only the best conspiracy theory film I'd ever watched before, but it was Stone's Magnum Opus, a film that he can never hope to surpass. The paranoia and fear this movie puts you in you is one that few films can hope to achieve.

JFK, true or not, is the best movie of its kind, and one of the best I've seen.

It came out in '88 a full 3 years before Stone's JFK movie. The research for this documentary took several years. The info this documetary puts forth jibes with the info in the Stone movie.

The first time I watched this movie was on VHS when I was 16 years old. I was thinking this was going to be something completely different in terms of delivery, but the movie itself surpassed every expectation I had going for it. The movie COMPLETELY floored me and it was awesome.

I love this movie; and when I saw the trailer for it on my DVD copy I later bought the first in a long time the movie trailer equally engrossed me; I was just as impressed with the trailer as I was the movie.

I totally agree -- this is an epic trailer. Just builds up amazingly, one of the most effective I've ever seen. And whatever you think really happened to JFK really doesn't matter; the movie is still absolute awesome and deeply meaningful. Even if you don't believe its factually true, it still is terrifyingly believable that something like that *could* happen, and it explores that possibility brilliantly.

And on a completely unrelated note, wow -- JFK had a really great signature :D
