I would say to those of you who are wondering, the Doom demos were in Drop D, I got them off Limewire by accident once :P

I tried playing along to this in Drop C, and it sounded dead out, then tried it in Drop D and it worked. Or I just tried it in D and it worked. it was a long time ago, I don't remember too horrorshow :P

@sp4rtucus Entombment of a machine is drop C yes. so your strings from low to high should be C G C F A D although for that song u only use the 3 low strings so you could keep G B E for your 3 three high strings but if your gonna play anything that uses those others be careful cause if u were to play an open B and open C it'd sound super dissonant.

yo chill out dude. haha. i have a wide finger stretch. so using my pinky just feels weird to play something like that. i use my pinky all the time. its just this song is so easy there is no need for the pinky. for different stretches i use different fingers. wen its something like 1-3-4 i dont use my pinky. but if its 1-2-4 i do use my pinky cuz the stretch from my middle finger to ring isnt all too good. this song uses alot of ones that are just 1-3-4

basically its like with standard tuning you have [ E A D G B e ] but if you make it a drop it will be [ D A D G B e ] so the top string and the third string are the same but different octave. this makes it so power cords can be the same fret. just look some vids up on youtube about drop d or c or any of them if this doesnt help.
