  • nice :D

  • you should make some loop cuts near some borders so you can get a more sharp edge when you got the subsurf turn on, so the curve parts wont get shorter or loose shape.

  • Microwaved car ?

  • Its really good dude, but don't you think its a bit too shiny? :/

  • Daaaayum, someone used Pop-a-Dent a bit much :P Jk, i could never make anything look that remotely good in blender, especially not shading, gj.

  • Nice concept...is it finished? I advice you to improve the wheels.

  • Can you make a tutorial pls? :D

  • you look so like pro!

  • lol real time ray tracing

  • looks like a nice clean new toy car!

  • Nice dude

  • it looks like it was overwaxed

  • its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to shiny it doesnt look real when it shines that mouch!

  • what program did you use?

  • blender 3d

  • People can say what the fuck they want, for a first, that's pretty damn nice. Not to mention it's a UNIQUE vehicle. He didn't trace over some blue-prints like most of you do and think your so pro. I can understand constructive criticism, but the shit talkin is uncalled for. And If you people ever been to a CAR SHOW, there are cars damn near this glossy. I saw a COMPLETELY BLACK (headlights, taillights, everything) '67 mustang fastback that was like a fuckin black mirror. Awesome car dude.

  • @Gr1mmReap3rT2 I agree with you on that. For a first animation that was really great. I would love to see that car drive in real time. People are real ass wholes on here, but I respect your comment towards someones work. At least your given him props. Your a good surporter.

  • @Jestek100 Thanks man, you sound like a good guy yourself. The web needs more courteous people, instead of these keyboard warriors.

  • @Gr1mmReap3rT2 Thanks for that comment, I feel the same way about you. I subscribed and I will leave a comment on your page. Feel free to talk to me anytime about anything. I just like to give people the credit they deserve, cause we all learn from each other, and you never know who will get famous or not. Some of the best animators and directors, are still undiscovered.Who knows, it can be you. take care, friend.

  • could someone tell me how u make it spin around and stuff? I been trying to figure it out all i can get is it to stay in place -.-??? please help me, by this i mean the character how do i get the camera to spin around, but it records it???

  • you have to select the camera, press i and save location and rotation. then move to a different frame and press i again, save location and rotation (they will appear like RotLocScale)

if you don't know how to move to a different frame you should better check some tutorials of basic interface buttons

  • oh right and press alt+a to see the camera move around. you basically chose the starting and ending point of movement. you can edit the movement later but check a tutorial on that. also check a tutorial on how to render an animation and how you save it and stuff. :P

  • looks sorta like something from futurama

  • how do u subdevide

  • In 3D-view press W and choose from the window that popsup Subdivide, or Subdivide Multi to choose how much subdivides you want.

  • w - subdivide

  • How can i choose materials, like glass or metal?

  • you don't choose them. you set material properties in order to get the result you are aiming for. it takes some practice with the right material properties to get what you want. for starters browse wikipedia's blender noob to pro book thingie.

  • Can u just tell me how to make reflections plz

  • read the comment i gave to cobra. blender noob to pro should answer most of your questions

  • man, i woulda render this hopeless 1 wheel-drive piece of embarrassment in like 2 seconds on my brand new 3 gazillion ghz amd cenacloi 100 thousand and 4 :O:O

  • then you should put ye garbage next to yer junk where it belongs cause i already did that using merely one quarter /100 the computing power using my 10 year old rusty washing machine

  • very cool! I tried making a car, but it tured out a little box-ie-ish.

I like the subsurfing though! It's pretty cool.

    I'd want this car...

  • Nice

  • nice car lol, im working on a few cars right now. Very shiny :P

  • is this flistone's car?

  • if it is not, rest assured it is at least from around that period

  • there was a bit too much subsuf otherwise its quite good

  • yes it can take days to render, especially if you have a slow cpu. however, i didn't render it continuously..i rendered it on parts...like a few hours a day. you can do this by rendering images which you then put together in a movie

  • OMG!!! how much that would take on my computer

    I have Celedron D 3.46GHz and 1.5G ram.

And I always render in Full HD...

  • This is pre-rendered, it's not in realtime...

  • I meant how long it would render...

  • ah :D

  • I updated today to 3Gb YAY!!!

  • Omg! It can take days to render?!

Wow wont the cpu burn? Or can you keep it below 100% usage?

  • it can even take months to render, depending on the detail and length of the animation. That's why people have render farms:

A bunch of computers that's sole purpose is to render.

  • are u able to just download a cat and like test drive it

  • what Blender? Blender 3 or what? Please respond!! :-D

  • how long did you do to animate this?

  • it took about 1 day to make and 5 days to render

  • Put that in a game. Its really good.

  • put that in a game!! not good unless you want one frame per hour

  • 5 days? I just got blender and I'm still learning but tell me, is that just because of you pc or program that made it take that long?

  • it took that long because of my pc, yes. i used an intel celeron 1.7 ghz for that rendering which is quite a slow cpu.

  • ok, thanks.

  • whats blender mean?? help

  • blender is an open source free to download 3d modeling program

  • dude! that's so sweet, it looks all shiny and like liquid. it's awesome!!!

  • omg how did u do that. move the camera is wat i mean.

  • wow, you really know how to use the shading buttons

  • @guitar564 i'm actually bad at it (was at the time i made the video)

  • @HanYou2 he actually was sarcastic xD very nice for a first animation :)

  • really cool but some of the effects are a bit over used other than that its very good craftmanship, just shows you the power of blender.

  • kind of look like a shark

  • omg, this looks fantastic

  • Ohhh fuck its awesome!!!!111!!!1!!!!111111

  • well on google there are tons of toturials

  • shine

  • mmmmm.....very nice...best ever!!!!)

  • cool that is definantly better then any car i have come up with i wish to make cars that good one day but for now i guess i'm really only appealing to the box car family.keep up the good work man who knows might see this car on the roads someday

  • how did u make it soooooo shiny

  • reflexive materials and a hd image in the background

  • woooooow that was made i wish i can do somthing like that super.

  • That was good! i cant make anything like that on it so... thats all i have to say...

  • why the hell do you keep spaming that?

  • i think is too much mirror effect... and too much subsurface, perhaps...

but this is really, really good model. It takes a lots of time doing that... man.. you rock...

  • man if you posted this kinda video in 3D forums you would get more (worse) than comments like mine...Its good that instead of playing lineage 2 or cs you work with 3D, but its a lot to learn ahead...the main thing is that you shouldnt think your work is so good, so you look for tutorials, etc, how to create perfect meshes, keeping sharp corners in a smoothed mesh, texturing and other shit...so i would only wish you luck!

  • Thank you for your advice though you are not the first now will you be the last to tell me this. I admit that i have a lot more to learn and my works are still noobish but it is not fair to judge me by this video i made one year ago.

Did you check my bike yet? :P

  • nope

  • Windows are way too round, and textures suck..keep on work :)

  • As mentioned in my comment, this is my very FIRST animation which i've made 2 weeks after starting to work with blender and (3d animation at all) therefore i admit that it sucks so save this comment for yourself. check my latest blender video insetead (view profile)

  • ive never seen a car like that.........

  • how you make the metallic color on the rims?

  • Axoth just Google Blender tutorials or use Noob to pro(Wiki book)they have "REALLY simple" Tutorials that anyone can follow even if you have no clue what 3D modeling is.

  • it looked more like water

  • yea too much specular was added. nice model though

  • exellent modeling my friend. people are probs saying that its to reflective, but who cares lol. i love reflextion like that on cars :)

  • well for me it's easier to draw blue prints on paper and then make it out of wood, than using blender.

  • You have an option of doing this in Blender actually.. :)

  • extreme glossyness xD

  • Kewl

  • Candy...

  • i'm just new too blender and i don't even know how u even model a face or even a shape of any sort

how do u make a car in blender???

u will think i'm pettery noobie lol =D

  • you'd better ask wikipedia or google about that

  • Though i'm far from being experienced with Blender myself, i've had some small succes using blue prints. Blender has an option to use background images: simply have blue prints from different viewpoints(make sure they are scaled properly)and set them as background images in blender. The rest is just filling in vertices...

  • just enter wikipedia or google and search for Blender 3D: Noob to Pro

  • great wor :P good ass:P

  • the texture is too reflective, but otherwise nice :D

  • shiny...........

  • Great model, but the style of the car isn't my favorite. 4 stars.

  • good work, i like it :)

  • can u tell me the material details. like how did u get it so shiny? i'm kinda new to blender, any help wud be appreciated.

  • Making it shiny is not only a material matter. You also need to have something to reflect, which yould be a HDR image for the sky. you can simply google for some and then use them as a sky texture in the world menu. Once you have it set up, you will need to play with the reflection: Ray Mirror (this car has an exagerated reflection). I recommend 0.20 for a car 0.20. Also increase the Hard and Specularity values. Good luck! ;)

  • i wonder how you make a car in blender?

  • blender is 3d modeling software . so you model it ..

  • model the car xD

  • are you able to download this car

  • yes for a price

  • not bad

  • You own the author rights...

  • My bad. But it's a stupid state of mind, as you already know you won't get any money for your work.

  • it just happened to be making models for someone else so i can't give it away as i please since i don't own the copyright for that model any more

  • Lol you liar. You did not make the car.

And, as Blender is under the GPL license, you MUST give the .blend file of the car FREELY... Or you're an outlaw.

  • First of all i want to ensure you that the car is wholly my creation (why on earth would i post it if it wasn't). On the second hand Blender as a programme is under GPL licence, not the models you design with it. I am not the first nor the last who sells a .blend model.

  • how much do you pay for it?

  • lol owned

  • ye me 2.

  • can you give me the link to download it for my game please
