Im having problems with mine. When I record video the audio goes out at certain times.

u know why,cuz u zomm-this is the disadvantage of this camera-when u zoom out or in it loses sound for 2 seconds-so pause the video then zoom then resum again that's how to solve it,just try it

how does NV10 compare with Olympus/Sony digital cameras so far? im planning to purchase an NV10 i just want to make sure im making the right decision. help guys!

At the same price range, you can't beat NV10 with any camera. For any respect of a camera, this one is a great camera in its CP value.
