  • Naughty naughty. No high viz jacket.

  • Why not look nice?

  • pebbletile.blogspot.com

  • fantastic pebble tile here

  • Nice Pebble Tile from Indonesia - we have ivory, black, speckle, tan / beige, multi color, pink. come and check it here

  • stupid question: Why do you need safety glasses while spreading thin set? Great video by the way - I'm doing a mosaic tile in front of the fireplace and found this video very helpful.

  • @Buntzums You don't, you need them for cutting the tiles and spreading the sealer; especially if you are sloppy with the brush or roller.

  • @ultraplexatron sealant is very gud but works very well with real river rocks, sealant is normally used in door on fireplaces etc. ya dont have to buy them from a store the pebbles, the best pebbles are hand picked from a river, there full of colours and patterns and once the sealant goes on they just come alive, try to keep yur joints tight as pos, and spread the random sizes of small, med, large all over. sum of pebbles ive used had reds, yellows, blues, blacks, white with paterns n speckles.

  • @danielwormald Another question from a newbie: how do you polish the river rocks? can you tumble them or is a dremel better? If so how do you do this? also are you using the enhancing sealer - I tried SurfaceGard sealer (water based) on marble and some other random common stones (mosaic) and the stones look like they did in the package. :) glad to meet an experienced tiler.

  • @ultraplexatron small, medium, large just have 3 types of sizes spread evenly tho not a bunch of small or bunch of large, this wud look great. try and spread he colours around to cos dif pebbles have dif colours and sum look unique, i use to be a stone mason lol gudluck !

  • I guess it's a matter of personal taste but I don't like this look. I think this would be something that you'd get tired of pretty quickly.

  • them pebbles are o uniform, every pebble the same size, no natural look, shame cos the pebbles look gud

  • are they real pebbles ? i can get my own pebbles from the river down the rd near my house lol

  • are they real pebbles ?

  • No way am I going to do all that!

  • I don't think I would have done this in a farmhouse style house

  • jajajajjaj did she put sealant on glass?????? jajajajaj its possible???

  • jajajajjaj did she put sealant on glass?????? jajajajaj its posible???

  • This is beautiful! I love it for a bedroom!!1

  • No baseboard trim? argh.

  • we also produce the pebble tile from Indonesia

  • woman... go back to da kitchun!!!!

  • she lost half the beauty of those glimmery stones pah.

  • what happened to the toilet? :P

  • I was thinking it looked too 1970s as well. This fad will be polyester leisure suits for homes. I don't know. Maybe IRS the colors that are bothering me.

This is to sell there stuff. Not a how to. I'm surprised they didn't try to sell a grinder with a diamond embedded cutting disc to cut stone.

  • Beautiful.

  • It looks like a public bathroom from 1975. All it needs is a multiple user urinal trough in the middle of the wall.

  • Nice looking, maybe darker grout would look a bit better though??

  • Make sure to sell the house BEFORE re-grouting becomes necessary!

  • Lowes kills me the way they tell home owners everything is so easy but they always edit out work behind the scenes in these videos. One frame no cut stones then suddenly they're all cut and perfect against the trim. Making this look good is much harder than they let you know.

  • @classictriple Aww, come on. You don't think it is that easy. ;^).

  • this looks ugly and this is not a good idea to do this

  • would be nice if Lowes would show a video on how to remove old counter top and replace with small ceramic tile. If anyone can assist me with the right video, please do so- I will owe you a favor! lol

    Thank you.

  • I'm trying to do this style of mosaic for my fireplace put I can't find the mesh cloth backing anywhere. Does anyone know who carries this product? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • @lordcrobar not sure what part of the world you are from, but in canada, they sell this type of the mosaic everywhere from home depot to most tile stores.

the manufacturer that made the ones i used was erthcoverings. you may want to check out their site and search for a dealer or contact them to find you one.

  • @lordcrobar I found a very similar product on ebay for $55 p/box for 11sq ft shipped. The same thing at Home Depot was $133 p/box for 10sq ft.

  • @optimo what was it called on ebay so I can look it up?

  • @lordcrobar Look up mesh for rendering or fibreglassing, it is used for this also

  • looks better without the grout.

  • @BBQkrewe it sure does!

  • I want to do this to my Bathroom, ;) It looks great!

  • She is hot

  • really good 1 and awesome design..!!!

  • Lovely job, and lovely smile

  • hello , i would like to know how do you paint pebble stone walls? reason being is my house is cover'd in small pebble stones around the outside of the house and we wanted to paint the house white .. & useing a normal paint brush seems like its gona take 6 months to do lol any idea's wat the best paint brush to paint the house with?

    thankyou

  • @wush786 .....Use a long nap roller, they come in sizes up to 36mm nap which should reach the voids between the pebbles. I have used this method on raked brickwork and it does work, but remember always keep the roller loaded meaning dont go too far between dipping the roller in the paint, otherwise you will be pushing hard to fill the voids.

  • wow, lowes in HD? its about time!

  • She forgot to put back the trim...

  • Love this idea! Would look awesome in my new house.
