oh.. thought this was about the ranger sword by DSA, Even though its not, thanks for the upload, will teach people a blade with a great handle design is important!
@deepfriedking I use it all the time for Trail Clearance.. that was the design. in a very similar fashion that you may use a 17-20" machete for, but with a lot more style and better fighting/ stabbing ability. its an extremely capable cutting tool. Thanks. in NZ its dense Bush, and Gorse grows over all the paths and will rip you to shreds.
@knivesandstuff i do not want to argue with you, but he is kind of right, it is more like a machete than a sword. but i also don't like trolls, so i guess i could say the usual "stop feeding the trolls" just block him from commenting friend, or just ignore it.
@WaagooshTheRedFox No argument necessary, but I wonder where you, or others, are getting your definition of a machete vs sword. a machete by design and nature is typically a broad bladed tool and if you showed this to anyone from a typical machete using country they would laugh if you called it a machete. a sword however is a wide ranging word used for any longer bladed fighting weapon. a machete can be a sword. this is a short recurve sabre, not a machete. All the best. I agree.. ignore troll
@leonardo0x1 Try cutting through a phone book with your moms kitchen knife....in a single cut. The blade of this particular toll is long enough to be considered a "short sword".
it is good. I've watched other videos where people chop off the side of a phonebook. not as good a test for power because sheering off the side means the pages offer no resistance or binding. This wasn't bad for down the middle. It performed better on live wood, which is where it counts.
Why cut a phone book in half when you can just rip it in half?
:)
