This is such a positive and uplifting song. It's a shame that music like this is rarely being made these days. Now it's shake this and pop that. There's no balance anymore. A majority of the music that you hear now has negative messages and meanings. The music of today has no substance. I miss the 90's.

I liked Whitney Houston too, her voice was so different in some songs such : Run To you , Saving All My Love For you , Step By Step , I wanna dance ...... it's so sad she cant sing anymore, I respect her so much, but she was only a great voice, however she didnt write, arranged or produced some of her best hits as other underated artists did so great, even in a greater way of voice too !

But she smoke marijuana too much and plus she has been inhalating cocaine by her nose so she damaged pituitary membrane. Imagine, if you have a flu you hoarse. And that is exactly what happend to Whitney. It´s not about aging, the bad sound that comes from her now is caused by smoking only. I´m a bit angry that she threw away hergift

@rodgermourtagh wow! thats sad. i didn't know the mucosa of the nasal cavity effects your singing ability. by inhaling that cocaine it had to have affected her throat as well since your vocal cords are right there in the throat. that would make her voice hoarse-sounding. i'm with you on that too I was really upset over her throwing her gift away. At least she's fighting for it back. i'll still support her. i grew up singing her songs, still do to this day lol

Annies voice can be clearly heard all over this track! It was written by Annie Lennox but it would have been out of place on her Diva album but she wrote a great song and it deserved to be heard and whitney recorded it. Great version of this song but Annies version has the emotion and the will to touch people deeper than this. Like i said this is a great version but Annie holds the key here.
