  • woah that some mighty fine picking lol xD nice playing

  • Pro Series = Made in Korea = Cheaper

American Series = Made in Oregon = Expensive

  • Lord of the Rings at 1:44?

  • Beautiful playing !

  • thats a beautifull noise mate tick tick tick

  • I'm using a Breedlove nylon string now, have been for about a year, but nothing can control that rampant bottom end - no pedal, no EQ on the p.a. .. nothing,. I'm forced to get rid of it, which is a shame.

  • Is it just me or does this cutaway guitar look very tiny compared to other guitars with the same body...It almost looks like a youth guitar or something o.o I'm really interested in this one but I'd like guitar that doesn't seem so tiny...for comfort and bass purposes. Can someone clarify please.

  • hello i would like to know what song you are playing at 1:45 it is absolutely beautiful i must know what it is!!! thanks!

  • Breedlove would be smart to use a double action truss rod in their guitars. Their single action rod needs improvement as Ive owned and serviced several of their guitars with ineffective ones.

  • Guitar sounds nice but the pickup system sucks big time!

  • Does anyone know which song is he playing in the middle of the video? its absolutely beautiful!

  • @djcrunkmix

    Sounds like Danny Boy.

  • Is this guitar only meant to be played with fingerstyle playing, or could a guitarist (me in this case) be able to use a pick to play? Or am I just being an idiot and it doesn't make a difference? Thanks in advance

  • Love these reviews.

The only issue I have is when naming artist that play any type of brand. Madonna uses Taylor, Breedlove and any other high quality instrument for more of a decoration purpose. She is not a LEGIT guitar player by any means and uses guitars as part of her clothes rather than skills.

  • I was playing one at GC the other day. It's fun and comfortable and has absolutely gorgeous tone and looks. Unfortunately, they are discontinued. Alas, the replacement guitars are equally stunning, much like everything Breedlove does. The new American series will make Breedlove an absolute ton of money I'm sure. I think these guitars are going to be worth a lot of money when the name gets the recognition it deserves.

  • @SuziBAcoustic Kim Breedlove, Larry Breedlove, or Steve Henderson never worked for Taylor. Maybe you are confusing them with Baden guitars, started by TJ Baden who was a VP of Sales and Marketing at Taylor before he left to start his own guitar company.

  • You're right that Kim Breedlove hasn't worked for Taylor. Steve Henderson and Larry Breedlove did work at Taylor prior to starting Breedlove, and Larry has been back at Taylor for many years now, currently mostly working on the R. Taylor line of guitars.

  • @AcousticGuitarMag Funny. I looked all that up last night and didn't find anything. I spent more time looking tonight and found it. I guess I stand partially corrected :) Breedlove still makes a better guitar imo.

  • Yeah diggin the bassy feel. really nice guitar. Doug you the man

  • anyone know the nut & saddle material?

  • what song was in the first part of the video?

  • This is the nicest guitar I've ever owned and I've owned a Martin 000c-16GTE, an Ovation Cebrity, and a Taylor GC8. This is by far the nicest guitar I've heard and seen. Buy it!

  • you guys recomend Breedlove over Taylor???? C25/SR concert or Taylor 214ce

    both 1000 dlls

  • Taylor 214ce has no bass, no joke.

  • DEF breedlove. you can get the sound of a 3000 814ce taylor sound out of one of 1600 breedloves.

  • Breedlove over the Taylor 214 CE all the way. In fact, I'd buy the 113 CE before the 214 CE anyway. But, the Breedlove is in a different league...probably compares more to some $1600 guitars. He's right about the bass...it's amazing. The tone is so balanced...great for recording. Live, it's a gem. I love mine.

  • I own this guitar and also have a couple of high end Taylors, tell you what, for the money go for the Breedlove, especially over the 214ce. I love Taylors, but this is one great guitar for the money, and yes it has a lot more on the bass end then the 14 series Taylors, mostly because of the lighter bracing and JLD Truss system that Breedlove uses. BTW are you sure you are talking about the Pro Series, not the Atlas. The Pro C25H runs +$1600, like the one reviewed here.

  • breedlove. Low end taylors aren't anything special. No expression system electronics, and not impressive at all acoustically. OK, but my 300$ yamaha beats a 214.

  • hands down yea... Breedlove was started by Taylor's old lead tech at the factory, who figured out a better and improved design to guitars!!!!! The woods they use over Taylor is so much better also!

  • Spend $200 and get a (16:9) HD camera.

  • sweet

  • review the breedlove d25 pro please =)

  • do you know what series the breedlove RDR IS??

  • I have one for sale, almost new, save some money, send me a message on here if you're interested.

  • I just bought this guitar at the beginning of january. ITS AMAZING.

It is surely the best guitar you canget $1000 (well for my taste) . I played every guitar at guitarcenter around that price range, and this was my choice

  • I sell acoustic guitars for a living and have played some of the nicest custom one-of-a-kind boutique guitars you could ever hope to lay your hands on, and as a result, I'm really picky (no pun intended). After shopping around for about six months, I settled in on the pro series C25. This guitar competes with any $4000 guitar I've ever heard. It's spoiled me. If it got stolen, I'd have no choice but to go out and buy another one.

  • absolutely wonderful..

  • I had a chance to play one of these at guitar center the other day. I couldn't believe the deep warp sound coming out of this little thing...I'm a big jumbo/dread knot guitar kinda guy but this Breedlove just blew me away.

  • I want one so bad! i just sold my takamine ean40c wich has cedar top mahogany back, but not all solid wood. It was a great guitar but this is my next one i love the tonewood combo in it!
