I don't find anything wrong with this. We've been playing god ever since we've been able to select which traits we like on our animals. A lot of the things we eat such as fruits (bananas, apples etc.), livestock animals and such have been the effect of our intervention. Being able to do this means we would be able to pick which traits to emphasize and which ones to remove with much more efficiency. It does not mean these thing will mutate you or give you cancer! You want to know something? I work with fish and I just got cum shot by some pollocks right in the face today. When they're in the reproduction season, they're full of sperm and eggs, and when they're excited a little bit (when I feed them for example), all that stuff comes out! By this I mean, you don't even need to push to make it go out because it squirts out by itself. And an other thing: this method is frequently used to help fish and reintroduce then in the wild.
Those are eggs. It's a really common and harmless way to take the eggs and semen out of fishes during the spawn. I saw that method been applicated in a project to help and maximize the reproduction rate of a certain population of rainbow smelt.

Umm... Most of the food that we eat contains genetically modified organisms, GMO's, or is genetically modified itself. Alot of people would protest against this, however, have you really taken the time to look at what you are eating in your own diet already. When they're in the reproduction season, they're full of sperm and eggs, and when they're excited a little bit (when I feed them for example), all that stuff comes out! By this I mean, you don't even need to push to make it go out because it squirts out by itself. And an other thing: this method is frequently used to help fish and reintroduce then in the wild.

Those are eggs. It's a really common and harmless way to take the eggs and semen out of fishes during the spawn. I saw that method been applicated in a project to help and maximize the reproduction rate of a certain population of rainbow smelt.

That's true, especially for Salmonidae like those fishes, they require a high oxygen consentration. But some fish like eels are amazingly resistant while putted out of water. Overall, i think thoses fish aren't so affected by this treatment.

If you spend all day eating "genes" of genetically modified animals, you will not turn into a fish, neither will your kids. Your genetic makeup will not be altered by your diet (unless you are eating radio active food).

Umm... Most of the food that we eat contains genetically modified organisms, GMO's, or is genetically modified itself. Alot of people would protest against this, however, have you really taken the time to look at what you are eating in your own diet already. I'm sure there are much worse substances in the processed food approved by the FDA then these modified fish. This doesn't pose a problem at all.
