I loved The Ultraconformist, i got that from Tower Records on High Street Ken. I loved Hippapotamomus, i got that from Our Price on High Street Ken. I seduced someone to Dull Documentary. Good job nick.
Ah "... I'd drag the textbook to my room, stare at diagrams of musculature until my mother said goodnight, then by flashlight I'd find my dog-eared Havelock Ellis, real life stories of every kind of fetish: shoe sniffing, grown men in diapers, animals, paedophiles, necrophilia. By day I'd study the postman or the butcher hoping they'd betray some hidden desire, or the boy in my class who sometimes stared back when Mr. Ormanati touched the curve of the female reproductive system with his pointer"
Modern feminists are sexists. They start from a belief in women's inferiority to men based on their own sense of inadequacy that the majority of women - especially young women - long ago grew out of. They may claim the same name, but what feminists today really believe is all the traditional chivalrous protection of the weaker sex that equality lost them 40 years ago. Women can and do sing about men in just the same way but 'the girlies' need protection that equal women do not.
Well there's a really intelligent response from - I assume, a feminist.Just what is the feminist problem with admitting that women are not feeble inferiors to men and traditional masculine ideals may be wrong? Momus is one of few men to treat women as women treat men. Feminists love the idea of women becoming like men. They hate the idea of men being equal to women. How many women want men to share their values instead of suppressing them to become as dehumanized as men?
I always wanted to see this. So glad we are in the age of youtube. Momus is a great talent and rather charming. The overall look of this short is beautiful.
Nick these videos of yours are really amazing. This one in particular is a true gem. It's such a pity that the audio goes out of sync, maybe it's just a problem of formats (pal/ntsc) with your "digitizing gadget" or with the software you use. Anyway priceless stuff. Thank you by heart.
Oh I remember them slagging you off with this crap when Voyager came out. It was all utter utter rubbish. You are, one of the nicest and most non-sexist people I know of. Well..... if yr songs and yr blog are anything to go by.
This is fascinating. I especially like the fact that Momus enjoyed being "reviewed" by Betty Page and his admission of not being around others with strict moral codes. I love both Betty and Momus, what wonderfully opposing characters they present. As a woman, I used to be fascinated by male fantasies. At the present moment, sexual fantasies seem like a colossal waste of time. Now I prefer to live in my own fantasy world where men are devoid of fantasies, and in fact they carry giant lollies.
She finds it distasteful as a woman. How is that different from finding it distasteful as a shirt wearer or a word speaker? Unless your vagina convinces you, in which case I totally understand. Throughout time and space Momus has been well known for his mad orgies with Loki and Eris. He also helped Prometheus discover his latent homosexuality. I bet Momus picks on Nick all the time and shows him perverted pictures and restlessness.

Question. 'Who did she think Tricky was ?'

Oh Laws ! Ain't Betty earnest. They just don't make people like that any more. Post modernity erased the option. Humorless to boot.
You Momasu have always been a very funny and self ironizing man. She just didn't get it. She tought you were 'Tricky.'
Shit she didn't HAVE to listen. Silly bitch....oops, sorry.. pardon my french.
