@zombiezombie1977 I don't think they will care very much, they will just carry on regardless :) US is only 5% of the world population, EU 11%, The EU is better placed to survive as all can go back to their respective currencies & that will stimulate the respective economies. Even though Germany is fighting it, & they have the resources to do that but whether it is a good thing or not remains to be seen. US cannot do that, they have nothing to back the dollar etc...

@zombiezombie1977 EU being unstable at present is helping the dollar, as soon as it is stable one way or the other investment will flow to the EU or EU countries independently away from the dollar. Our mess is the only think keeping it as high as it is at the moment.

@zombiezombie1977 It will, but they can weather it & are already taking steps to dump the dollar by stealth by converting all dollars received to RMB, and carrying out transactions with other countries in RMB, this has been accepted by the major players outside of EU & US. The RMB for all intensive purposes has become for many countries the acceptable currency of international trade.

@zombiezombie1977 No it won't, they are not so stupid, they will do it over time & simultaneously link with other emerging economies & drive economy in the "real" sectors rather than the "virtual" sectors as US & UK have. If you think about it US & UK combined only equates to 16% of the worlds population. As far as China & the emerging economies are concerned this is of no great significance. Point in fact, Chinese goods are cheep, it will be Germany & the US that suffer the most.
