I'm sorry for all Evanescence fans but in my opninion Simone definitely beats the pants off Amy Hartzler... i've never heard a more beautiful voice and this has barely to do with vocal range, octaves or anything like that. Of course there are voices like Tarja Turunen, Amy Hartzler, Anette Olzon, and they are all truly amazing, but in a strange way still no comparison to that. Simone's really an angel.

I guess it does hint it in the 5th stanza, so in a sense the premise may lie aroudn that, with the word "innocence" and other like-themes around. But nonetheless, the song still points to religion as a fairtytate which common sense is supposed to wake us up from. To which I've answered that this pressuposes all humanity has been blinded until modern philosophy became popular in the 1800s.

Too bad the lyrics n message of this song is such, because it's an awesome song.

Amy Lee's piano skills are poor in comparison to other pianists. Simone isn't a WT or Nightwish copycat, she has a different style, darker and their music is more of protest than NW or WT's fantasy themes. Amy Lee's style is pretty much the same of Annette Olzon, Avril Lavigne and very few of Cristina Scabbia put together, with more of Avril Lavigne due to her inhability to sing live.

Conclusion: Defending Miss Lee leads nowhere.
