Hold on- you -challenge- it? I crapped my pants when I finally climb'd those stares, hit F2 and the frikkin gerbil jumped out the air at me on keypress. The Asshole Mario series is designed as a "perfection" trial. If you want to challenge the modification, you also need to challenge, why Mario would travel through this single area of danger, and not step 3 yards to the left and run around behind the danger. Challenge the position, and loose YOUR position. So there. 5-stars.
Firstly you need a "clean" copy of Super Mario World rom (it's an SMC file). Secondly you need a Kaizo Mario IPS Patch, made by the lunar Magic people. Double click it, and it will ask you for the Rom, and patch the graphics, level design, and music overtop of Super Mairo.
Alternatively, the above edits the rom. You can probably download a copy of this online somewhere. Google Kaizo.smc. If all else fails, msg me. I'll see if I can't find the disc I stuck it on.

I like the challenge this mod presents but it is crudely done with sprites appearing in areas they shouldn't.
