The smoke comes from the tires. it just seems like the pipes but thats an effect the compression gives when the smoke hits the path of the pipes.

I like 2 strokes just as much as 4 stroke. 2 strokes respond much faster too modifying and easy to work on while 4 strokes lend themselves to very minimal maintenance. The fact I can hop on and ride for years on end is quite appealing ;). I'll leave the 2 strokes for sledding, for now.
