  • the Who at the end : icing on the cake

  • we have clearance Clarence

  • @kassel188 It's funny because the pilot's names are Roger, Victor, and Clarence. It's funny because in controlling the airplane, they need to say the words roger, vector, and clearance. Try watching again.

  • @squiresuzuki ...and the captain's name is Clarence Over, and there's a lot of "over" being said when speaking on the radio. Classic :-)

  • How dumb do you have to be to not notice the pun?.. I'm shocked by some of the comments here ...

  • i got permission to show this movie to my history class since i wanted to a course on history of them film and comedy, after the first 10 minutes all my 4 classes were literally crying from laughing so hard and enjoying the jokes. some students told me personally it was refreshing to see a movie without the politically correct gestapo.others told me "we have to deal with the comic book CGI crap today." was not expecting that comment which made me laugh. all my classes loved this movie. take care

  • Roger: Huh? What? Who?

  • @Cheyanne183 i am and dont call me shirley

  • @bizhop81 I am serious, and dont............aahh, fuck it, I'll never deliver that line as well as the Legend that is Leslie Nielsen!

  • Rest in peace, Leslie Nielson. You were a comedic genius.

  • @SirHoboGoorble

    Who?

    Oh, you mean Shirley.

  • Call me what you want

But I can't understand this shit, I'd much rather have my disgusting jackass humor.

  • 666 likes and 6 dislikes, that's kinda creepy...

  • my favorite part is the 'who' at the end

  • I may get thumbs down for typing this, but I believe this is comedy in its purest form.

  • That is excellent!

  • if you don't get it maybe you should just try learning the English language, then it will all become pretty friggin clear

  • lol omfg so funny

  • one of the better-acting non-actors ever... he probably could have been an actor if he was a normal size.. but he would've had a terrible hook shot...

  • hey thats khareem abdul jabbar

  • Huh???

  • not bad

  • I couldn't imagine myself acting that scene without bursting in tears of laughter. I'd be fired on the 2nd take ^^

  • "You have clearance, over."

    "...That's CLARENCE, over."

  • RIP Peter Graves and Leslie Nielsen

  • now thts comedy!

  • 27 seconds of comedy gold

  • I finished StarCraft II last week and its reference to this Victor/vector -joke was one of the in-game jokes I didn't understand (Banshee -quotes) - until I saw Airplane! a few days after that (I had seen it before, but I didn't remeber the joke). The next week Leslie Nielsen died.

    Great movie.

  • This film is legend!

  • RIP Peter Graves :( loved you in these films and Mission Impossible

  • rip.....

  • Guys. That's Peter Graves. He was already dead.

  • @elgranelgraf GRAVES AND NIELSON? THIS YEAR ALONE? JESUS -- NOT MANY OLD TIMERS LEFT ANYMORE - SO MUCH FOR THE OLD DAYS--

    TODAY-- R E M A K E S !!

  • @moneybelt22 And Barbara Billingsley (Mrs. Clever) in October.

  • Via con Dios amigo, may your soul rest in peace.

  • after getting the roger from god Leslie Nielsen got the proper clearance and the right vector to make it to the after life. may he forever make us laugh, even in the afterlife. R.I.P. Leslie

  • How many times is Peter Graves (Captain Clarence Oveur) being mistaken for Leslie Nielsen (RIP) today?

  • @ear1grey to be fair he does look alot like him

  • @ear1grey We bring you this urgent news bulletin: Four-alarm fire engulfs downtown Dallas. In other news, Peter Graves has recently joined Leslie Neilson in the RIP business.

    ~NtN~

PS: In other, *other* news, it has been found out that Howard Hesseman, George Gaynes and Micheal McKean were in fact, the same person. Ta-da!

  • That's Clarence Oveur.. over!

  • RIP Leslie Nielsen.

  • Good night, sweet prince

  • RIP you fucking amazing legend...

  • You will be missed Leslie, we love you.

  • RIP Leslie :(

  • haha I love all the confusion as they take off. "huh? what? who?"

  • Sometimes I find myself saying, "Roger, Roger; Clearance, Clarence; Vector, Victor." Thanks a lot, Airplane.

  • This is an area 51!

  • It's the way he says 'who?' that gets me all the time LOL

  • What? huh? .... who?

  • Roger, HUH? lol

  • hahahaha

  • Classic! This all because of Abbott and Costello and other comic greats who did skits that played with double intent of words!

  • theres someone named copie or kopie missing.

  • Pure. Genius.

  • My name is victor and my vector is denmark :D

  • @computerfis hehe også mig :)

  • I love that last part. "what?, Heh? Who?"

  • love this movie, easily one of the best ever made, tons of quotable lines, like "the tower, rapunzel" lmao

  • This is classic. Good and CLEAN humour. It is so rare these days.

  • @naughtycanuck True, but I wouldn't consider this movie "clean".

  • @chriswa84

For example the scene in opening, when people are walking though security at the airport, and the security screen shows women topless when they walk through the scanner.

  • @chriswa84 Nowhere near it.

  • @chriswa84 Yeah, don't forget da boobies :P

  • @naughtycanuck Clean humor? I don't know if you're watching the same movie. Especially the scene with the auto-pilot being "reinflated".

  • @naughtycanuck "joey, have you ever seen a grown man naked" Good clean fun

  • @naughtycanuck coming from the person named "naughtycanuck" ?

  • @naughtycanuck Looks like you picked the wrong week to quit methamphetamine

  • @razzza ....what?

  • @frosty1115 What what?

  • @frosty1115 Oh sorry...it wasn't methamphetamine...it was "amphetamines"

  • @naughtycanuck Sure, specially the part with the pedophile

  • @naughtycanuck LOL, clean. You must have only seen the "edited for television" version.

  • I laugh at this every time I watch it

  • haha hilarious!
