How do you make a turret spawner?

I guess he used the point_template entity, you just need to put a turret in a box of brushes anywhere outside the map, and name the turret. Enter the turret in the point_template (don't know the exact key :S ) and give it the input "ForceSpawn" on the button's Output

@adamk570 Half-Life 2 is, but L4D and L4D2 have their own authoring tools. You can't use the portal Source SDK content anyway, if you don't own Portal itself.
