Regardless of this game being underwhelming as a remake, it's still the best BN (In my opinion) improved. The chip system is much improved (as in chips darken when they cannot be used), the music is enhanced, the menu is new, the character images are good, and playing as Geo (MegaMan) is a nice addition. They DEFINITELY could've done a lot more to make it worth the money but I'd still buy it, just wish I had the chance but they unfortunately didn't bring it to America so.... :/

can't the ds hold like 1gb max? 16mb is pretty cheap, that is like a gba games or even worse then a gba game

This....should have been a whole game. It's pretty much like an add on you could buy for a game. I thought that this would be a whole game, not an add on. I think they should remake this into an actual game instead of a small part of a game.

Odd how Ryuusei Rockman is better than Rockman.EXE when it should be the complete opposite this being a remake and all. Rockman.EXE should have a complete upgrade. Not the outdated style he evolved from a decade ago.

@OmegaChosen0 Yeah, the ANIME...... um, you know last I checked that really doesn't matter because Megaman/Rockman was, is, and always will be, originally from a video game not some spinoff tv show. Not to mention, and I'm sure you're aware, but Geo's shown that he's much stronger than Megaman.EXE. Of course, That's only when Omega-Xis is there to wave change with him. But I agree on the whole Bass idea of winning easy.

From the vids I have watched, this looks like a ds port of MMBN1 for ds but the the creators said "adding in starforce megaman will make the game better" so they did.

But seriously is this just a port of MMBN1 or am I mistaken?

It's half the average size, 32 MB. Bigger games like Pokemon clock in at over 100-200 MB. This is by far the smallest sized DS game I've seen.

The storyline should of been this, clockman goes back to SF1, he recruits the FMians saying there is a "greater world to rule the cyber world and real world" so the SF1 bosses plus new bosses go back into EXE's time where they cause problems, once lan and megaman know whats going on Megaman.exe attempts to fight one of the FMians but fails, then out of know where megaman starforce shows up and saves him, then after that both team up to stop the threat of clockman,the FMians and new netnavis.

after the dealer incedent a net navi known as clockman came and brought back sirus and the other R bosses saying that if sirus gives him more power then they can rule a place called the cyberworld assuming it was really weak. mmsf went back in time so did bud, harpnote, wolf, courvus, queen, and started team sf.

after beating it once the bosses decited to stay.

when you reach the clockmans stage you fight a series of wizards R versions and in the end you fight clock man. after clockman is defeted sirus would letyou fight him once more and if he wins game over but if you win hell hand you the S code to unlock a sercret door. if you beat the R bosses in under 20 seconds you open another door that has rare chips. the team decides to stay for a short while and rouge comes saying if mmsf is here then i will be here. so you are allowed to ger rhe rouge chip.

I'll get it, because I think it's like BN5 DS, because they give you a map (Best, so you don't get lost so easily like I do), Voices (Even better!), and in this one, they added an awesome Multiplayer area, it's pretty much like MMSF2 in the Coliseum.

The game isn't BAD it's just that nothing has changed BN fans like me were waiting for a 3-D BN with new soundtracks and a new story line but all we got in return is a shitty remake of BN 1 that's what dissapoints me and the thing is the original megaman fans get the dream game megaman 10 while we BN get the total opposite of what we wanted.

Why would you want to raise your hopes so high? I can't wait for this game! I've beaten every Battle Network game and finally beat the first one a couple nights ago. If they make a BN7 it'd be awesome to see some new or old character plus new chips, PAs and of course Bosses.

It wasn't just me it was BN fans in general, when the creator of BN network said " we heard people wanted more EXE so we made a new EXE game for our fans" OSS isn't new it's a re realese of BN and when he said more EXE I thought A new BN game was going to be realesed not this, plus this game might not make it to the U.S since it is selling so bad in Japan.

Well I am a BN fan (says so in my name) and I thought it would be nice for another BN game. But I also realized that the BN6 was the END of the series. I'm sure every BN fan knew that too. You should have realized that since BN6 ended the series that the only possible way they'd make a game would be by a remake. Plus it's CoA. They'll definitely put this out especially since us fans are in the US as well and it sold so well here (the BN series). Plus it's new chips and enemies for me.

I knew BN6 meant that the BN series was over along time ago but what I meant was a real BN remake with 3-D graphics remixed music and so on. OSS has none of that the only theme thats remixed is the title theme. Wouldn't you want a real remake of a BN game? with remixed music and amped graphics? or would you rather have a re realese? the choice is evident and OSS is a huge dissapointment.

Honestly, this is just a test. They did this very same thing with the Phoenix Wright series and look how well that took of! They remade the GBA game into a DS series. In fact there's a spinoff of that game coming next year! You give up too fast. Just because the sales aren't doing well right now doesn't mean it's going to fail. And besides the 2D graphics is what made Battle Network. Basically Starforce is meant for 3D and Battle Network is meant for 2D.

i'm fine with the graphics I wanted remixed music, and I never said i gave up on the series I still have faith in it. If this is a test it's failing, there was no need to draw out the BN fans Capcom could of just gave use a real remake of BN1. capcom over hyped this game there is nothing special about OSS that is final i don't want to talk about OSS anymore so let's stop fighting and get on with our lives good day to you and merry christmas.

well the game seems slower to but if you listen to the music its more fluent. avtuallt game Faq gave this a 8/10 pros are you play ss rockman and fight him but cons are that its back to the original style and the ss rockman is late

well I prefer the BN style of battling better then SF so I don't mind that at all it brings back memeories, the game isn't bad or anything it's just that they didn't take their time trying to improve it, the game seems rushed, it looked like that they had no clue where to put SS rockman so they put him late into the game, what they should of done was re amp the music, better graphics in 3-D, and should take place after BN6.

Sometimes I hate capcom. But before i get chewed out hear me out. When i got this game and found out that it was only 16MB i was like whoa. You would think that capcom would have went all out and made this the best game for us. Not changing alot but giving us more better chips, style changes, and other stuff packing it with a story for the ages. If they did that this game would sell way more than the starforce series (I like starforce and i'am saying that)

Chip selection is terrible...That's really the only reason I aimed to to buy this one despite meager additions. And that's really the whole fun of the EXE series, at least for me. How you can play tactical and realize each card's coordinated worth...I first played EXE 2, but had I played the first one I'd never go for the rest in the series. I want to be convinced, what is the "non multiplayer thing"? Does it really make a difference?
