@srcoxxy It's about timing. Protoss pushes out either when their 1-1 upgrades finish or when they start to get colossus. and no, vikings arnt great for worker harass, but they could do some damage if not stopped.

@TheChopstickMurderer I wouldn't buy a laptop to play SC2, my friend has a laptop and when it gets hot it lags and same with my moms laptop which has that same problem. I just wouldn't buy a laptop to play sc2, although if you are I would buy a laptop cooling pad its something that goes under the laptop and connects to USB and keeps your computer pretty cool, make sure you check with the graphics card to be sure it can support it!

@whitemanwii its not going to be a laptop thats restricted to only playing sc2, it'll of course be all around. theres almost no point in buying a laptop for one use, I plan on buying a gaming laptop (msi gt683r) but its more because im looking at a laptop that wont be shitty technology in 3 years. technology moves so fast its hard to keep up, but gaming laptops have the best specs and i can use it for whatever i want. but sc2 will be played of course :D

Medivacs should be your top priority. For every medivac you don't kill, that's an extra X amount of marines you have to kill. Always target them first. Sypher lost because he didn't target the medivacs when he had multiple chances to do so, and just attack-moved instead.

Denarian, none of the races are OPed. Get over it. I lose a lot in ZvT and I will admit that it is a very hard match up, but that doesn't mean T is OPed. Get creative. Do baneling drops with overlords. Bomb their tank positions. Hell, burrow roaches and get them underneath their rines so that the tanks splash them, idk. But in ZvT the Z usually wins because either the T sucks or because the Z got creative.

Same with forcefields for toss, they might be slightly overpowered, but without them, there would be no way to hold off a 3rax/early timing attack etc. Same with terran, there next anti-air unit is a viking. You run your zerglings in, as the marines are running away you magic box the thor and then continue to kill all the siegetanks while controlling your banelings to chase the marines. Not that hard. Stop complaining.

@Shadowknight257 Never said to remove Marines only that they're currently OP. With a wall-in and Bunkers 8-12 with SCV's to repair can hold off any early push. Btw in that scenario you made up you neglect how the Marines would stim, back away and continue to fire upon the lings while the Tanks nail them, and the chance of more than 1 Thor which would annihilate Mutas without much trouble with Marine assistance. Marines focus Banelings w/out much trouble. With good control, Terran is unbeatable.

@DenarianLord They really aren't though... Late game, when you have zergling baneling muta the zerglings aren't supposed to do damage, they are supposed to scare the marines away and tank damage. You say I neglect how they would stim back and continue to fire, when really, that's what you want. That way your muta's can nail the tanks. Then your banelings come in with the leftover of your zerglings and you steamroll him.

With that, the Marines are still around to take out the Mutas, and Marines do take out Mutalists without much trouble with decent numbers, which he's going to have. Your scenario does happen and ling/muta/baneling DOES work, but only if the Terran has bad control and at most one Thor. More than one Thor can take out Mutas without too much trouble and thus destroy the entire thing.

And if they just run back to the muta's, then you get to smash them with your banelings and lings, because they won't be running away anymore, and by then you have most of the siege tanks, also, the splash from the tanks is hitting there marines as they micro. Obviously if they stagger their tanks, split marines perfectly, etc. Then it's different.

You never want to run in when they are nice and turtling. Well, sometimes you do, but it's very situational. The only problem between ZvT that I would complain about is the fact that if a zerg makes one mistake. They are suddenly at a huge disadvantage. I still don't agree that marines are op.

@Shadowknight257 That ties into it. It's very easy to die as Zerg, simply because you have no real effective way to defend your base without your army there. If your army ever dies, then you're going to lose some Drones, maybe an entire Expo. As Terran, if your army dies, it doesn't matter because your base defense is so high that you can hold until you macro up enough of an army to push your opponent back. Marines simply do too much damage for their low cost.

@Shadowknight257 Eventually he'll attack, yes, but keep in mind that Marines can and will focus fire the Banelings, which only take five hits from unupgraded Marines to die. Without Banelings, twenty or thirty Marines and Marauders, with Medivacs, can take your entire army. And there's also the very real chance of him attacking before you have Mutalisks out. Spires take ages to morph in, while it doesn't take long to get Siege Tanks as Terran.

And mutalisks still are AMAZING harass.  Once you get about 16 missile turrets don't even do anything. And I might have been a bit overzealous saying that they're unbeatable, but it's a lot harder to die as Terran than as any other race. As Terran against Zerg, as long as you have your wall in and a dozen marines, you aren't going to die in the early game. The wall in holds off the enemy long enough for you to destroy them. Add in Siege Tanks and you're safe from any ground attack. Air? you have Marines
