i heard an r8 v10 in real life and it was loud as shit, almost covered my ear, but in videos it sounds alright but not that loud and epic.

did a testdrive last weekend. it was a carrera s with pdk and sportsexhaust. opening the pipes of the exhaust with the little button in the center console is like opening the gates to hell!!! it sounds so mean and racelike it's unbelievable. what i loved the most is when you loose the throttle it makes a spitting/banging sound. if you want to buy a 911 the sports exhaust is definately a must have!

Great work by this guy at Silverstone. Porsche marketing benefits from having this guy represent the car. Engine noise. Driving.

I could do without some of the superlatives and we all wonder about things like the electric steering, but I concede he is there to advocate the car, not critique every part.

Far better to see and hear the car in motion, like watching Chris Harris, rather than computer generated image (CGI) and the gravitas of a German narrator in perfect elocution of English.

Porsche 991 looks to similar to the 997, is not going to perform any better as a daily driver, still feels like its been built in Korea. Unfortunately Audi R8 and Maserati Granturismo are much better quality and reliable cars.

Look around everywhere the Porsche is listed as the No. 1 manufacturer in quality... and also the 911 is the fifth car of the 20th century...
