Jesus it's SUCH a travel. He picks up the ball and jumps. Then he steps forward with his left foot (which is allowed as long as he keeps his right foot down as his pivot foot). The problem is, he steps forward with his right foot after he steps forward with his left foot. If you can't see that's a travel, you don't know the rules of basketball my friend.

Yeah, it was definitely a travel at 4:11. You can do a hop when you pick up your dribble, and then jump a second time like you said as long as you release the ball before your feet hit the ground on the second jump. This isn't relevant to kobe's move at 4:11. Kobe picked up the ball and did a jump stop and landed on both feet. Then he slides his left foot forward, AND slides his right foot forward while they're on the ground. very illegal
