its not that wasteful. they rent party supplies, someone sets it up, someone takes it down. parties are great for employment and they are 90% labor costs. so its not like there wasting tons of natural resources.

This is the reason why I think that we need to cap maximum pay in America, it's absolutely insane that people should be spending 30,000 dollars a night for a hotel or 100,000 for a 2 year old's birthday and have summer houses in foreign countries.
The reason why our economy is so out of wack is the insane earnings of the top class who has damn near half of all American money anyway.

The workers who already work at these corporations do not get raises because some rich people went crazy. They make the same wage, the money goes to the top. They did not CREATE jobs or increase the money being input to the lower classes. like I said, read an economics book, or read some of Noam Chomsky, he speaks on this subject on occasion. The only none salary or hourly position included may have been the band or planner.
