Great Drill! This kid has skills for sure... I agree with most when it comes to practicing with wood! Nobody steps in my cage with metal!! They are all better hitters for it.

@jetadaman You dont have to use wood during practice or at all geeze its not a baseball law its just gooood to use wood.. i use wood and it keeps me short so i dont get that aluminum bat swing. If your good with wood, you'll be great with aluminum

This is a good drill to force a hitters swing to shorten up. Just make sure he doesn't cheat himself on the bottom half. Make sure his back heal is all the way up.
