Basicaly you are saying, dont starve yourself like buddah and sit under a tree expecting to become enlightened. excuse my language but no shit. rather than striving 24/7. I think the "state" of the spiritual world is to make adjustments that you as a responsible decision-maker prefer to effect the world around you, whether positive or negative. our linear reality gives it the sense of an endless task filled with loss and gains, missing life itself. thats BS tho
misery and suffering are toils of body and mind which carve truth. they are tools which bring depth to understanding. enlightenment is supreme, yes though water will still need toting and wood need chopping making enlightenment pursuits simply escapism from the real deal called applied enlightenment in living.
esoteric mastry only means learning to not be ones own burden.
Hi John. Most people on the path are "seekers" and we know that that can be a problem! I woke up "by accident" with a clever book by Murray Oxman titled "How to handle difficult people". I'm sure you know the punch-line! I am the difficult person. His method is brilliant though: he hooks the ego and then kicks it in the groin! Worked for me (I wasn't seeking anything except ammunition against my fellow man). Two days later I self-realized through Adyashantis words. I am now at peace.
I love you as my Self. There is gratitude for seeing you here. There is gratitude for the times I have been with you.
It seems I habitually create this "weight", the weight of my story, the story that runs on and on, seemingly automatically. Now and then I waken to the truth and can clearly see, just as you say, that I am not the story.
i hope the 100 or so people who didnt watch part 4 will do so someday.. i guess now im worried about fixing those people.. not just fixing my life.. habit is hard to break.. thanks john, roslyn
