Opera IX is my favorite band, and Cadaveria definitely one of my favorite vocalists ever. Her vocals really suit this song, providing a vampiric ambience.

A great cover from Bauhaus original Bela Lugosi, and I also agree with linkinn18 that she is much underrated, If you like the good old Opera IX listen to two of their greatest songs: Alone in the Dark and the Call of the Wood from the album "The Call of the Wood", at least for me those two tacks contains the very essence of Opera IX and Cadaveria when she was the lead singer.

Hm...Don't think this really qualifies as "black" metal. I like it though. It sounds very different from the original...which is one way to approach a cover. And I think, the most valid. Bauhaus and Opera IX are two completely different things. You can't compare the two, the original is a great milestone tune, and the Opera IX song is also an awesome masterpiece for the Metal genre.
