killer instinct was revolutionary hands down. my favorite fighting game next to sf but was in its own league. this was the last game that had magic to it when i was young. i don't get hyped off of games anymore ki was the last. arcade on saturday bowling lane on sunday ki in the mall. they said ki would come out for the ultra 64, then they gave us this watered down snes version. was so disappointed. now u can just d/l the arcade rom and play all the ki u want!

@Brah07 Not the original Killer instinct. The original game was never released as a console version, only KI gold (inferior to part one) Fortunately, Mame 32 emulates it.

Well what can I say I been gameing sence the NES came out. SNES is still my most played console (as you can tell from my channel)I worked for E.B. Games and I excepted as a kid that the home versions were NEVER going to equal the arcade version! Did that make them bad ports? HELL NO! I saved many quarters thanks to KI hitting the SNES and I still play that version to this day and I don't bitch because it's not "arcade perfect". The game is all there it's just missing a few graphics/sounds boohoo

Rare owns the characters and the game. Nintendo owned Donkey Kong and Starfox which is why they cant make anymore games of em charcaters. Rare do plan on makin a KI3 no doubt, but no plans 4 when. Still i would like 2 have the arcade versions of the ifrst 2 KI's on xbox, that would be slammin, dont ya think?
