If you plan touring Scotland,make sure your tyres have plenty of tread,as the roads in the far North are overlaid with Granite chippings,and will take the surface off softer compounds,its nothing short of BREATHTAKING!a very stunning Country,go and see its a fantastic place!

I have been riding a BMW R1150RT for the last 18 months and have put almost 20K on it throughout southern USA. I am looking forward to a three week tour of Great Britain on a rented 1200RT. Great video.

Brilliant bike and brilliant video. "Sell the sizzle, not the steak." I doubt whether I will ever get to ride a bike through Scotland, but, hey ... if I win Lotto. And my 1150RT is going to have to last me for a few years yet ... not that that's a bad thing :-D Thanks again; it's inspirational.
