I think its safe to say that everyone involved in this debacle was to blame.Mothers top of the list, obviously, but its still getting away from the fact that when someone said "lets force a 14 year old girl to discuss her sex life live on air" not one person suggested that it may not be a great idea. Its seen as Kyles show so of course he'll get the blame as he should have been first in line to say that its a bad idea. His response, and later back tracking comments just highlight him as an idiot

to be fair i think it was more of an unconcious automatic response from Kyle. When hearing something one would not expect to hear, people usually say something inappropriate.
Like if i said to you that i wanted to rape you, you might say "oh..." whereas later you might realize fully what i said then think to yourself "i should've bashed that guy in the head!"
