oliver still built better tractors. john Deere had more pieces of shit than anyone, i will post the list if you want. Oliver only had one bad one, the 1855 diesel
This challende is unfair, Oliver made the better tractor, but in this case, it was out classed. That 5020 wouldnt stand a chance against an Oliver out of its class. Its bull, and Oliver is not junk, the only reason they aint around is bad business decisions.
now thats an unfair fight. a 75 hp oliver vs 120hp wheatland style 5020 thats bull shit oliver makes a good tractor lets see you v.s a 2255.or the 2655.
Let's see here. John Deere - 120 HP at the drawbar, Oliver - 74 HP at the drawbar. Who do you think would win. Next time compete with a Ford 8N at 28 HP and brag about that. I'd like to see you pull against an Oliver 2255 next time. It has 180 HP but Oh that's right that would be an unfair advantage.
@Treeslayer64 i just love you guys this was something fun i did with my kids i know it was unfair but good observation if i had a 2250 i would have used that to but i dont have one they all went to the scrap yard years ago.
@ACfarmboy24 cool your jets sparky i understand your pain watching this vid. it was never meant to be fair it was meant to entertain and i think it did so you dont have to embarrass yourself by dragging your allis over here to pull my john deere. it wont win or maybe it will i dont know or care
Lol not a fair match, but nice entertainment! The 5020 is a monster one hell of a machine. The oliver have a very strong rear end and over/under power shift. As you cant see she sheered the shaft and didnt kill the tractor!
Well, if the 1750 was pulling against a 3020 . . . or the 5020 against a 2150, it would have been more of a fair fight. Now I know why you wanted to sell me that thing!
@onelonleyfarmer I agree John Deere's fucking rock.... except for all of the leaking but still they rock even though you have to refill the hydraulic fluid very time you have to use it lol
I dont care what chain you have between the tractors all it takes is one link to break and that chain flying towards someones head. One of my dads buddies was pulling a tree with a IH 706 chain broke and he lost his head. Running equipment like there suppose to be ran is dangerous enough as it is not to mention adding a couple dumb asses in the mix
@78granadaman did you see the size of the chain. it was not going to break. and i have been around long enough to know what a broken chain can do.this was for fun i am sorry that most of you olly guys cant grasp that point all you see is your beloved oliver get broken and i am sorry that it happened cuz i am the owner of this piece of shit and i had to fix it.
@onelonleyfarmer way to be fucking asshole have some fucking respect I wouldn't talk shit if one of your buddies died. I hope you get in an accident so people can talk shit about you.
@78granadaman did your dad's buddy use soft grade bolts to fix his chains? i imagine so. any half intelligent person knows not to use bolts on a chain for anything
If ya werent abusin the ol' Oliver and doin a tug a war with a 80hp tractor against a 140+hp tractor then you wouldnt have a broke Oliver ;) Not being rude but its true. Oliver didnt go out of business because its junk, because they built too good of a tractor. Id buy a Oliver over a new or old JD any day.
@wstarcummins the thing with this oliver is i only did this with it once. then again when i fixed it.i never wanted to break it. the oliver had way more traction then the deere and it did well i think it won really.i have new tires in the deere so it would drag the olly across the field no fun there. to my point i used the oliver to rake hay and spin seed on and spread shit.and other small jobs around the farm.it keeps breaking down its not a better tractor than a deere it is built lighter
@wstarcummins a newer case IH or a deere or even an agco product would be way better than an old oliver i like john deere i have always had them and never to much trouble untill they had over 14000 hours on them thats when my 4430 engine let loose the 5020 has about that many hours on it this oliver has under 6000 hours on it and it has burnt valves leaks oil the coupler comes undone at least once a month if you want it its yours its parked in the weeds now cuz i am tired of fixing it.
@wstarcummins the 5020 was nowhere near 140 hp. look it up. a 4020 was 80hp, 5020 about 100. olivers are extremely light-built tractors for their power, hence the broken axle, & all the guys that try, in vain, to pull em.
@jd1950r I searched up the Nebraska Test #1025 in 1969 of the 5020, it was 125HP, and looking at 5020 listings for sale the HP range is from 130HP to 165HP, you make a point of the 4020 being 80HP, but you forgot about the 4320, 4520, and 4620 all in between the power ranges of the 4020 and 5020. The Olivers are light built, and if people treat them like they should be, theres alot less of chance of this stuff happening.
@wstarcummins thats true. but i've outpulled tractors with 2x the hp as mine, weighing the same, on a track. by 60 feet, mine in low gear &theirs in higher gears. they spun, i didnt. tires, hitching, & weight distribution make all the difference in the world. most ih's & ollivers i've seen in pulls cant get the power to the ground. i didnt realize the 5020 had a 531 in it either. good times, good chattin. any tractor vid is a good vid.
And you still claim that this was something you did just to have fun with your kids. So you're teaching your kids to be and unfair prick like you, some sort of bully taking advantage of the weaker? Real great parenting skills ass. Judging from the video it seems you set this up to make yourself feel real important and awesome, and you act like you accomplished some huge feat that people thought was impossible. Well you accomplished making yourself look stupid as fuck.
@sprinter36 you are a silly little boy.were you abused as a child.you are so angry over nothing at all. making threats and really acting like a disturbed person i think you need help i dont give a damn about your tractors i am sure you think they are great. kudos to you. i like my john deere tractors. are they the best in the world i dont know. but i do know they are better than any oliver i have ever ran acrost i dont go around making nasty comments on other peoples videos like you.
@sprinter36 you also are really not making a good case for proving that i am stupid.your language skills are not to good. all the trash that you are writing in your comments does not make you look to bright.i usually associate your style of speech with a liar or a thief or just some shut in looser i dont think you farm 2200 acres . i think you are a liar. i will not allow more of your comments on my video to be posted. if you cant clean them up. i wish you luck.i dont think you are capable.
So like I said let me challenge you to an unfair and lopsided tug of war with your POS 5020 and one of my much bigger tractors. And tie the chain around your axle and mine on the drawbar, I bet you'll find that maybe the JD axles might not be as strong as you claim since you think you've "really put them through a lot of abuse before with no problems". Whatever dumbass.
I could really give a shit less that you use JD's, go ahead and be a follower your whole life like the rest of the douche bag JD legion. Maybe I should start farming with your shit, I could buy 4 4960's for the price of my one DT AGCO. Says a lot about my operation compared to yours. My main point is that you look like a real retarded asshole bragging about how you set up such an unfair and lopsided match against a much smaller tractor and won with your bigger more powerful tractor.
Try 2200 acres that I farm full time. Obviously you didn't read that I have an 8710 White? Along with an 8610 White, DT 180A AGCO, 2-135 White, and the older Oliver and JD obviously. I bet my operation makes yours look like playtime in a sandbox. But my offer still stands, bring ur POS 5020 over anytime and hook up to any of my Whites and prepare to run home with your tail between your legs. Hell bring your POS 4960 and I'll even stomp that pile into the ground.
@sprinter36 wow i am empresed 2200 acres with all that high quality equipment i bet your the first one done in the spring and the first one done in the fall. i bet you do this all by yourself to. you sound like the man i want to be.you have it all figured out.maybe i should sell my john deere tractors and buy all the oliver tractors i can get my hands on they are cheap to buy i might be able to get 5 oliver's for the price of my 4960 and 3 for my 5020.the thing is i would rather farm with horses
So I'll leave your ass sitting in the dirt with you wondering what the fuck just happened. See how much you talk shit then. And I'd still take a White or Oliver over a Deere any day of the week. And I know a lot of people who feel the same way. Ask people who have switch from Olivers or Whites to JD's see what their honest opinions are. But go ahead and keep bragging like the big man you are about how your bigger Deere beat up on a much smaller Oliver. Douche Bag.
@sprinter36 you know its really funny you have an old 3010 and an old 1600 and you are talking crap about me. i bet you only farm a couple acres on the weekends with your granddad. grow up get a life and stop being so angry life is to short.
O yeah and that 1600 Oliver will dry hump that 3010 up and down the road or field any day without breaking a sweat. After all the money and tune ups put into that POS 3010 its still a POS running machine. And taking your POS 5020 and challenging a 1755 would be like me challenging your 5020 with out 8710 White. And you hook a change around your axle and I'll do way more damage than you did to the Oliver. I'll pull the ass end of your POS JD right out from underneath you and drag it home.
Yes I did realize these are both yours. And guess what....that doesn't make it any better or smarter, still retarded as hell. And big whoop that they still make JD's, they're still a POS. The only thing that saved them was the fact that they got lucky and got a good dealer network going decades ago in places where there were no other brands to buy. So then people have to buy green. We have a 3010 Deere and a 1600 Oliver and the Oliver is much much better tractor all around.
Well this is seriously the dumbest thing ever. And too bad the guy in the Oliver was even more stupid and retarded than you and actually took you up on it. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and actually challenge someone that would be a fair fight. Go up against a 2255 Oliver and see what happens. Just be prepared to get your ass handed to you. We'll see how much you brag and shit talk then. I'll take an Oliver over a JD any day
@sprinter36 you are just a happy little boy arent you.you do realize that i own both of these tractors.the whole thing was for fun i am so sorry that you just cant figure this out.you know what just to make you happy i think i will go out and buy a brand new oliver. do you think you can tell me ware the dealer is for a NEW Oliver.i know ware to buy a NEW John Deere but for some reason i just cant find a dealer for a new Oliver. maybe you can help me out.
Way to go asshole i bet you think you're the coolest kid on the block, challenging a much smaller tractor and beating him. Let me say that makes you like the smartest kid with Down Syndrome. Congrats Douche Bag. And the way you really bragged about it topped it all off. You were the guy in high school picking on fifth graders weren't you because you couldn't handle anything your own size.
But whatever makes you feel like a big man and makes you feel good about yourself.
@sprinter36 thanks for watching i am glad i could bring out the best in you.please watch the rest of my videos maybe you can post some really good comments on them to.
Yo asshole! If you want to see what the oliver will do hook the axles together and you will see the oliver break the john deere gears!!!!!!!
John deere tractors can't pull a dead frog out of mudd they got no balls !!!!!!!!! Every time that Putt Putt Johnny tries to do a tractor pull its got trouble moving its self!!!!
@DetroitDieselguy671 you are a retard. the oliver tractor company is dead white tractor company is dead. john deere still john deere.this was something fun to do with my kids it was not meant to stomp the shit out of the beloved oliver.so if you dont like what i do dont watch please.
The fag in black hat is going to break something hook the chain up like that....hook it to the draw bar where it belongs.. or have fun in the shop. Go fix the Oliver and get a better hat Tim McGraw.
The 5020 is in a higher weight class than the oliver, so it wasn't really a fair match. But through my experience the Olivers aren't built as good as the old JDs. I mean... has anybody on here ever seen a JD 4020 or 5020 class tractor break an axle? Probably not.
aHHHHH C is tro idiot to make its on our premises one never makes its!!!!!!! with the TRACTORS then C is well made for you that your OLIVIER 1755 is BREAKAGE
You John Deere people are all the same. Knock the tractor that is half the size of yours that breaks because you are stupid. Hook that tractor to a 2255 Oliver and see what happens.
@chevybogger73 wow the oliver had a pre existing crack in the axel that is why it broke not because it was hooked to a bigger tractor.but if you want to see your theiry fail just look at the rematch i hook the 5020 to a 4960 and that axel did not break. it failed cuz it was time to fail.
who hooks an 80 hp tractor to a 150 hp tractor?! That'd be like hookin a M to a 766...besides amore fair match woulda been a 2255 against that deere.....a 2255 woulda busted that lil deere in half
An 18,000 lb, 140hp Deere against a 9,000 lb., 85hp Ollie? Sheesh! I'm glad you confessed it was an unfair match, 'cause I was about to ask if you also wrestle midgets! ;o)
Im surprised the 1755 did as well as it did until the axil broke, little unveven but good fun, my dad has a white 2-70 that axil bent when a car hit it.
How about a Oliver 2255 vs a IH 1466.The 5020 141hp vs 86hp 1755.Like this 5020 standard.These 5010s,5020s and 6030s are built like tanks I have heard said
if i had the right tire pressure i would have just drug the olly accross the field. the sad part is it broke. the good part is my kid lost its his olly.the bad part is i have to fix it. when we get it fixed we will have a rematch and i will run the olly. i will be easyer on it and yes i know it was an unfair match. but it was fun.
Ok, heres where ya went wrong. First off ya got a WHEATLAND and a ROWCROP. That JD just has more lead in its ass by pure weight. Second there is a major horsepower difference. If ya want a fair match put a 4020 with the 1755 or a 1955 or a 2255 against the 5020. Ya cant say which one is better on this match up because it was a unfair pull. Considering the circumstances the 1755 did pretty dang good!!
the last thing i expected was the axil to twist off. i had just put a new engine in the 5020 so i had almost 30 lbs of air in the tires so it would roll apart easyer. if i had the right tire pressure it would have never stopped the 5020. the parts to fix the olly should be in soon so it will be up and running in no time .
@478bo white is out of the line up now to.its agco now. this oliver is not to tough its dead in the weeds i am sick of fixing it i think it will be scrap soon.
oliver still built better tractors. john Deere had more pieces of shit than anyone, i will post the list if you want. Oliver only had one bad one, the 1855 diesel

I'll take an Oliver over a JD any day
sprinter36 1 year ago
@sprinter36 you are just a happy little boy arent you.you do realize that i own both of these tractors.the whole thing was for fun i am so sorry that you just cant figure this out.you know what just to make you happy i think i will go out and buy a brand new oliver. do you think you can tell me ware the dealer is for a NEW Oliver.i know ware to buy a NEW John Deere but for some reason i just cant find a dealer for a new Oliver. maybe you can help me out.
onelonleyfarmer 1 year ago
Way to go asshole i bet you think you're the coolest kid on the block, challenging a much smaller tractor and beating him. Let me say that makes you like the smartest kid with Down Syndrome. Congrats Douche Bag. And the way you really bragged about it topped it all off. You were the guy in high school picking on fifth graders weren't you because you couldn't handle anything your own size.
But whatever makes you feel like a big man and makes you feel good about yourself.

John deere tractors can't pull a dead frog out of mudd they got no balls !!!!!!!!! Every time that Putt Putt Johnny tries to do a tractor pull its got trouble moving its self!!!!
DetroitDieselguy671 1 year ago

The fag in black hat is going to break something hook the chain up like that....hook it to the draw bar where it belongs.. or have fun in the shop. Go fix the Oliver and get a better hat Tim McGraw.

we have had olivers and whites our whole life, and had no trouble, but we also have never played tug of war with them, great video!!
whiteFARMER2105 1 year ago
The 5020 is in a higher weight class than the oliver, so it wasn't really a fair match. But through my experience the Olivers aren't built as good as the old JDs. I mean... has anybody on here ever seen a JD 4020 or 5020 class tractor break an axle? Probably not.
banshee8989 1 year ago
@banshee8989 i have never had an axil break on a deere and i have done some crazy things with them so i think that the olly is not built to good.

You John Deere people are all the same. Knock the tractor that is half the size of yours that breaks because you are stupid. Hook that tractor to a 2255 Oliver and see what happens.
chevybogger73 1 year ago
@chevybogger73 wow the oliver had a pre existing crack in the axel that is why it broke not because it was hooked to a bigger tractor.but if you want to see your theiry fail just look at the rematch i hook the 5020 to a 4960 and that axel did not break. it failed cuz it was time to fail.
onelonleyfarmer 1 year ago
low gear is all you need
jeryl1968 1 year ago
who hooks an 80 hp tractor to a 150 hp tractor?! That'd be like hookin a M to a 766...besides amore fair match woulda been a 2255 against that deere.....a 2255 woulda busted that lil deere in half
478bo 1 year ago
should had the 1755 oliver vs a GUTLESS PIECE OF SHIT 3020,IF THE 3020 BREAKS AN AXLE JUST CALL THE JUNKMAN,DON'T FUCK WITH THE PIECE OF SHIT

tgamble01 1 year ago

An 18,000 lb, 140hp Deere against a 9,000 lb., 85hp Ollie? Sheesh! I'm glad you confessed it was an unfair match, 'cause I was about to ask if you also wrestle midgets! ;o)
DoJoRa3 1 year ago
@DoJoRa3 i wrestle midgits all the time it takes two or three to take me down but its all fun. the midgits are my kids so its not a bad thing
onelonleyfarmer 1 year ago
Im surprised the 1755 did as well as it did until the axil broke, little unveven but good fun, my dad has a white 2-70 that axil bent when a car hit it.

@generationII they are tanks unstopable in the right gear.
onelonleyfarmer 2 years ago
How about a Oliver 2255 vs a IH 1466.The 5020 141hp vs 86hp 1755.Like this 5020 standard.These 5010s,5020s and 6030s are built like tanks I have heard said

if i had the right tire pressure i would have just drug the olly accross the field. the sad part is it broke. the good part is my kid lost its his olly.the bad part is i have to fix it. when we get it fixed we will have a rematch and i will run the olly. i will be easyer on it and yes i know it was an unfair match. but it was fun.
onelonleyfarmer 2 years ago
Ok, heres where ya went wrong. First off ya got a WHEATLAND and a ROWCROP. That JD just has more lead in its ass by pure weight. Second there is a major horsepower difference. If ya want a fair match put a 4020 with the 1755 or a 1955 or a 2255 against the 5020. Ya cant say which one is better on this match up because it was a unfair pull. Considering the circumstances the 1755 did pretty dang good!!
Oliver66FarmBoy 2 years ago
the last thing i expected was the axil to twist off. i had just put a new engine in the 5020 so i had almost 30 lbs of air in the tires so it would roll apart easyer. if i had the right tire pressure it would have never stopped the 5020. the parts to fix the olly should be in soon so it will be up and running in no time .
onelonleyfarmer 2 years ago
A 4020 woulda been a more even contest versus a 1755 or a 2255 Oliver against the 5020.
oliverpuller1655 2 years ago
unexpected dammage. john deere is a way better tractor. oliver tractors are not to tough.
onelonleyfarmer 2 years ago
@onelonleyfarmer
So if olivers weren't tough why would white buy them out and use oliver transmissions an rear ends on the white tractors for 30+ years?
478bo 1 year ago
@478bo white is out of the line up now to.its agco now. this oliver is not to tough its dead in the weeds i am sick of fixing it i think it will be scrap soon.
